• Nanashi [ The Nameless ]
→ Somako // Taiyō

Somako's codename, Taiyō [ 太陽 ] translates to sunlight. Hailing from the Land of Wind, she's the proud and ruthless representative for Sunagakure when it comes to the international squad that has been put together to deal with threats average Shinobi aren't equipped to do.
Her biggest flaw and greatest strength is her loyalty to the Kazekage. She follows Gaara's orders as they were given — which is why he rarely elaborates. This causes conflict for her and other Kages, as she will refuse to listen to them without the express permission of her Kazekage.
Apart from that, though, Somako thoroughly enjoys her work. Having to act quickly, being able to do as she pleases when it comes to battle — it is all a thrill.
Her pretty face is a front, she can kill you ; and she will most likely enjoy doing so.
