Oh my! 👀

I'm so excited to tell you all that the Everlasting Cake 🎂 has won a Silver Award 🥈 in this year's @juniormagazineonline Design Awards in the Best Creative Play category 🙌🏽.

Back in 2025, I was deciding which beautiful toppers the wonderful @joguines_grapat should craft for a cake that never gets eaten. Then, early this year, the Everlasting Cake launched at the Toy Fair and was met with so much love ❤️.

It's a very special set. The soft cotton cloth, the 60 wooden pieces 🫐, the invites and the sweet little pouch all come together beautifully to inspire littles to decorate their dream cake, play café, celebrate birthdays and create all sorts of stories of their own.

And now it's an award winner! 🥹

Thank you to all the judges at this year's #JDA26 Awards and, of course, to all of you for all the love you give to Wonderie 😍 by @the.wonderie

Of course, the cloths fold away super neatly once play is done, but why would you want to when they look this good on the wall 😀 ?

All the cloths look equally stunning as wall art, but I must admit, the seasonal designs and the giants look extra special.

Now it's just a case of deciding whether to iron or not to iron 😁...

'Shades of green, glistening white snow, the scent of pine fills the cold winter air. Pick a tree and make it yours. Add baubles, garlands, and much more.' 🎄

If you have this gorgeous cloth, I’m guessing this is how you’ll be using it, decorating the tree with loose parts🎄! It’s lots of fun (and not just for the little ones 😁).

But of course, it’s not the only way! I’ve seen people hang it on walls and windows, use it as a tablecloth and, of course, wrap pressies with it 👌🏽.

So much more than cloths 👌🏽...

One day Amber is a desert, the next a Halloween landscape 🎃 🍂. Orchid becomes a meadow full of blooming flowers or a fairy village, while Azure is the depths of the ocean and the skies ☁️ high above. And Juniper? A forest, green fields or whatever else comes to mind 💭.

But of course, they're so much more than backdrops for play. They're capes, blankets, covers, dens, flags, tablecloths and a hundred other things... by @the.wonderie

I can think of hundreds of playthings that pair beautifully with 'A Walk in the Forest'... leaves, animals 🐺, loose parts, stones, mice (living their best lives yet again 😄), and so much more.

This cloth really is the perfect backdrop for calm, imaginative play. Prop it up or lay it flat. However you use it, it invites your kids to tell tales of trees 🌳, woodland walks and hibernating animals.

I often think back to my own childhood in the 80s. I don't remember having beautiful invitations to play all set up and ready for me. I simply played 😀.

And yes, there's so much beauty in creating wonderful little worlds like this one, all ready to be explored and played with. And it's also something we as adults can really enjoy doing.

But I think it's also worth remembering that none of this is necessary for magical play to happen. Sometimes just a few toys strewn across the floor will do just fine 😉💕. by @the.wonderie

Too long since this one has been on the feed 👀

Whether it's tracing the Northern Lights with loose parts, building a little village in the snowy landscape, or letting bears 🐻‍❄ roam, 'Waves of Light in the Night' makes the most beautiful backdrop for whatever your littles might imagine 💭.

And of course, it's perfect for all sorts of wintry and festive play, especially now that we're fully into the colder months ❄️.

Bringing fairytales to another level since 2022 😀

Whether it’s Sterntaler ✨️, which I vividly remember from my childhood in Germany, The Gruffalo or The Rainbow Fish.

Reading a story 📚 and then using a cloth to recreate it is such a wonderful way to play. Even better if you have a few figures to act out the story.

And of course, your littles might take the story in a completely different direction. As always, anything goes 👌🏽.

From the Jurassic era to fairy forests 🧚‍♂️. From the depths of the ocean to the skies above 🌈

I sometimes can't quite believe that I launched Wonderie (then Wondercloths) with just four designs back in 2022. And now here we are, with over 40 designs and counting 😀.

I've got a long list of new wonderful designs I'm already working on 😉, and an even longer list of ideas I'd love to add to the line-up.

If it were up to you, what would you love to see next? 👀

Play and scoop 👌🏽

I love adding things like kinetic sand, rice and the likes to our play. It instantly adds another dimension. Cars can make tracks, rice can be poured, and so much more.

And this is just another reason to love the cloths. Not only do the beautiful illustrations instantly elevate play, the cloths also make the perfect base to contain all those messy playthings. Well, most of them anyway 😁.

And when playing is done? Simply gather up the corners, scoop everything up and tada! A clean(ish) floor 🙌🏽

Something magical is returning...✨

The story of the Forest of Wonders continues, but this time, winter ❄️ has cast its spell.

Snow-covered trees, a frozen stream, a shimmering ice palace and tiny folk await those who believe in magic ✨.

Once again dreamed up by Rabia from @wonder.andwild and beautifully illustrated by the talented @anne_gies_ , a whole new chapter of magical adventures is about to begin.

I can't wait to share it with you in November 😀.
