Why these type of “jokes” perpetuate rape culture and is fronted as humor veiled behind misogyny

There’s nothing wrong with having goals but when the function of the goal becomes always needing the next achievement you’re chasing something else entirely

➡️ worthiness
➡️ belonging
➡️ value

If you identify as someone who never feels like things are “enough” therapy is the place to help you get to the root of this and not just give you a checklist of things to “do” but a space for transforming that reaction

I filmed this video a month ago and in recent news about SA I wanted to discuss more subtle signs of abuse beyond rape

If you saw my last video I talked about what sexual coercion is

In this video I’m going to talk about some common examples of what sexual coercion can sound like, but of course this is not a conclusive list

If there’s any others I missed please let me know in the comment section below 👇

RESOURCES
➡️ @plannedparenthood has some great education on this topic on their website

I filmed this video a few months ago and in light of the recent news of the Cornell 7 I want to provide some education about SA and to discuss more subtle signs of abuse beyond rape that many may not be aware of

I don’t want to gate keep but on IG it won’t recommend my video to new followers if it is over 3 min and I want this video to be shared with as many people as possible so in part two I will be giving examples of how sexual coercion can sound
