🎃🥃Family Fun, and a zero waste Halloween treat (for dad)!! Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned • 2 oz pumpkin-infused Fighting Cock Bourbon • ¼ oz allspice dram • ¼ oz allspice syrup • 2 dashes Angostura • 1 dash blood orange bitters Stir over ice, strain over a big rock, and garnish with an expressed orange peel. Real pumpkin, real spice, zero lattes involved. ☕️❌ Would you drink it? Or how can we make it better??👇 #ZeroWaste #pumpkinspice #oldfashioned #thebardaddy #halloweencocktails by @the_bar_daddy
🏆🏆CALL ME THE HALLS CAMP CHAMP!!🏆🏆 Huge thanks to @hallscolumbia for hosting an incredible cocktail competition, and to everyone who came out to compete, taste, cheer, and talk shop. The competition had 2 rounds: Round 1: @amethystnaspirits seasonal inspirations I received Amethyst Grapefruit Basil N.A. Spirit and my season was summer, so naturally I had to enter into the Spritz of the Summer conversation! Summer better than Others - Grapefruit Basil Sorbet Spritz with a Lime and Honey N.A. Prosecco - I made the sorbet with a grapefruit Basil super juice and the amethyst spirt as my base and added sugar fresh grapefruit juice and a little xanthum gum and lactic acid. The N.A. Prosecco was clarified lime juice, honey, water, with lactic and tartaric acids to give it that Prosecco zing, and carbonated over night Round 2: Movie Camp Inspiration I received the movie Heavy Weights, the Disney cult classic about kids overtaking their fat camp. I was also assigned @titosvodka . This took some thinking and research, but ultimately landed on one of the most famous Lines from the movie “I should not put twinkies on my pizza!” Perkis System Failure - A Twinkie Pizza Ramos Fizz - I used a Marscapone washed Tito’s, a clarified pizza sauce acid, a basil and oregano syrup, ferretti biscotti Liqueur, heavy cream and egg white. Replacing soda water I did a mixture of V/ale @savagecraftaleworks Vanilla Cream ale beer and Cream Soda, and topped it off with a pizza seasoning that made the whole thing smell like a 1990s Pizza Hut Now, time to get ready for the next one! Cheers to Columbia’s bar community, y’all make this city taste better. 🥂 #BarDaddy #ColumbiaSC #CocktailCompetition #SpritzofTheSummer by @the_bar_daddy
WTF — What The Funk 🍌🧀☕ Funkytown’s playing, the bar’s grooving, and this one’s straight chaos in a glass. Coffee rum, cognac, coffee cacao @myacidbuddy , and a banana oleo — finished with a bleu cheese foam because why the hell not. Inspired by @schmuck.ny Versace slippers cocktail. Check them out for people who are really pushing the cocktail scene! Funky, bold, a little unhinged — exactly how a good cocktail should be. Come get weird with us at Savage Craft. 🥃🧡 #WhatTheFunk #SavageCraft #TheBarDaddy #FunkyTown #ColumbiaSC by @the_bar_daddy
🥃🧀 What the Funk? A bold twist inspired by the infamous Versace Slippers from Schummuck, blending rich coffee, ripe banana, and decadent chocolate beneath a savory-sweet bleu cheese foam. Unexpected, indulgent, and seriously WTF-worthy. #cocktail #brewery #weco #craftbeer #southcarolina by @the_bar_daddy
