Now that the review embargo has been lifted I can give y’all my honest opinion and ranking for @clayfacemovie!

This is a really really good movie. While the horror is not taken to the extreme or even to the edge of what I was expecting when the term ‘body horror’ is being used, I think it works well within the other genre it claims; ‘comic book film.’

Both @tomrhysharries and @naomiackie shine in their respective roles but also enhance each other performances. They are an absolutely stellar team on screen!

The action is great, the SFX are grotesquely mesmerizing, and the writing is very well done.

I already want to see it again!

Thank you again to @warnerbrosca, @cineplexmovies, and @torontogameexpo for inviting me to the early fan screening!

Finally, after so much build up, my Greek Hoplite a helmet pattern is ready!!!

This new pattern will be released on my Etsy and YouTube THIS FRIDAY at 8am EST! Perfect timing for the weekend so make sure you are following me on those platforms so you do not miss out!

I will also be dropping a tutorial on how to make a faux-horse hair helmet crest like the ones you can see in these images.

This pattern comes with FOUR different gave plate options to choose from: the Corinthian' the Spartan, the Achilles, and the Odysseus. Which are you the most excited for???

Got some new ink this past weekend! A depiction of the lady of the lake revealing Excalibur from Arthurian legend.

Massive shout out to @tobintattoos for this great piece.

***PROP FAKE GUN***

“I’m not the one that dies, kid. I’m the one that does the killing.”

This Punisher cosplay has quickly become one of my favourites to wear. My take on Frank Castle is largely inspired by @mitchgerads designs for @marvel. If you haven’t seen his work, check him out!

Massive thanks to @thewish01 for getting these epic shots!

#flashbackfriday to my Axeman/Executioner cosplay from the Resident evil universe!

This is still one of my favourite cosplays from the last few years and I can’t wait to where it again.

Here is a closer look at my Clayface mask!

I went for a very uncanny valley look for this mask. Something approximating what a human looks like so the rounded teeth, the smooth upper lip, creepy smile, and lack of eyebrows really worked well! You can also see a second mouth starting to form within the droop🤮

I used a dollar store mask as the base then used foam clay to fill in and sculpt the rest of the human face and the serious droop/transforming flaps. Finally, I followed @myerscorpcosplay example and used nail extensions for the teeth.

I am really surprised at how well the skin colour came out consider I had never painted human skin before. This was all done by airbrush with the exception of the hand painted teeth and the orange elements on the droop added to match the orange of the transforming arm.

This is for sure the creepiest thing I have ever made and I am super proud of the end result!
