POSTS STORIES REELS

Some of my Jellycats are just a little more special than others. 🧸✨

In this post, I’m sharing a few Jellycats I could never part with and the little stories behind them. 💕

💌 I’d also love to hear from you! 🥰 Is there a Jellycat in your collection that holds a special meaning for you? And if so, what’s the story behind it? 🤗🫶🏼

I thought it was finally time to introduce myself, the face behind this account and, of course, behind this slightly out-of-control Jellycat collection. 🙈

Hi, I’m Jolien, aka @the_jelly_jungle . I’m 27 years old and I live in Belgium. 🇧🇪

My Jellycat journey started in February 2025. I had never even heard of Jellycat before, but my boyfriend surprised me with my very first one: Otto the Sausage Dog, because he looks just like my own little dachshund, Obi. 🐶

That same month, my mum also gave me another Jellycat, and somehow things escalated very quickly from there. 😂 What started with absolutely no idea what Jellycat even was turned into a hobby… and, let’s be honest, a bit of an addiction. I started buying Jellycats several times a week, and now, a year and a half later, my collection has grown to over 240 Jellycats. I still sometimes can’t believe that number myself.

And the best part? My mum has started collecting Jellycats too, so it has become something we can enjoy together. I honestly love that we share this little obsession. 🥹

Through Jellycat, I’ve also met some really lovely people and even made friendships that I’m incredibly grateful for. It’s amazing how a collection of little soft toys can bring people together from all over the place.

For me, Jellycat has become so much more than just a hobby. It has helped me through some difficult moments over the past year, and whenever I look at my collection (which is… multiple times a day 😂), it genuinely makes me happy.

So, if you’re new here: hi, I’m Jolien! And if you’ve been here for a while already, thank you for being part of my little Jellycat jungle. 🧸🌿

If you know, you know… 😂🧸

Being a Jellycat collector is a whole personality trait at this point.

The endless (D)ISO lists, the Vinted searches, the excitement over a delivery and somehow ALWAYS finding room for one more…

Please tell me I’m not alone! Which one did you relate to the most? And what would you add to this list? 👀

I guess it’s time to dust off the Christmas Jellies? 😆🎄 Because @mariahcarey said… “It’s tiiiiiiiime!” 🎶

These photos are from last year, when I was SO happy to find these retired Christmas baubles together on Vinted! My mum and I each got one for our collections. ❤️

I remember thinking how amazing a Christmas tree completely filled with these Jellycat baubles would look. Can you imagine?!🎄✨

Is anyone else already getting into the Christmas spirit? 👀

🍂 A little autumn adventure with Fergus, Ooky Bat and Spooky! 🧡

Today, we visited one of my favourite places: a pick-your-own flower garden where you can gather flowers all year round. Together with my jellies, I picked the very last flowers of the season and made a colourful little bouquet. Now it’s time to hang them up to dry, so we can keep a little piece of this beautiful day forever. 🌼✨

I love autumn so much. It’s the season that reminds us to slow down, to enjoy the little things and to stay inside without feeling guilty. To curl up under a warm blanket, watch a favourite movie and enjoy the cosy feeling of being home. Meanwhile, nature puts on its most beautiful show, turning every shade of green into golden yellow, warm orange, deep red and earthy brown. 🍂🤎

Wishing you all a beautiful autumn filled with little moments of joy, warmth and magic. And remember, it’s okay to slow down. You don’t always have to be doing something. Sometimes, simply being is enough. 🧡🍁 by @the_jelly_jungle

Meet this adorable trio, from left to right: Moz the Monster, Bo Bigfoot and Wilf Wolf! 🧡 They’re fully embracing the autumn pumpkin vibes, and don’t you think they fit the Halloween theme perfectly? 👻🕸️🎃 Although Bo might look a little too sweet and innocent to be spooky… or is she just hiding her mischievous side? 👀🤭🧡🖤
