The next @the_mush_womb_ gathering is underway 🍄‍🟫 Every space I create, is a space that I am deeply yearning for. This one in particular is very close to my heart. This medicine has really been a life saver for me over the last 2,5 years My transition from 1-2 children was so hard. I feel like I was shocked because no one spoke about how hard it was. On the contrary - everyone said it was so easy. It wasn’t easy for me… far from it As I approached the 6 month mark of being a mamma to two incredible girls, my days got darker and darker. My want, need, and ability to get out of bed grew less and less… I started having some very dark thoughts The smallest things felt huge. Getting dressed, getting out of bed, brushing my teeth, washing my face - never mind how hard it felt to mother. To hold space for two tiny humans who are solely reliant on you day in and day out. I guess another factor was my huge promotion, three months postpartum, leaving me with a big title but not much space or capacity to be the mother I truly wanted to be Anyways… I have gone off topic 🤣 This medicine is a really a huge part of my story. A huge part of who I am today. The way I show up for myself and my family. The way I mother. The voice I return to when things feel too much or go heavy. I started with micro dosing and since then I have done two hero journeys.. 10/10 recommend 🤌🏼 But Mushwomb is just a safe space for mothers to gather, to connect, to share their experiences of this wonderful medicine, to ask questions if they are feeling called, or to just frolic with fellow mamma fairies and fill their cup… what ever your reason, I hope you’ll join us Such an honour to have this space as one of my passion projects - I am so passionate about normalising this medicine 🍄🍄‍🟫🦋🧚🏼🌸 DM me for deets by @the_mush_womb_
Where does one even find the words for this experience… this journey… traveling to another world, another realm… watching your life flash before you like an old movie… facing the deepest darkest demons that your soul has chosen to lock far far away… stripping your ego down to the point of no return… being transported back to things that no one should ever experience… but opening doors to heal and truly understand yourself for the first time in your 35 years of being in this body…being so incredibly grateful for this medicine and how 6 hours do more for you than 10 years of therapy ever could have… it’s not for everyone, but then again when have I been for everyone As I landed from my travels I was reminded of who I am, the incredible growth I have done as a human, that I am here to ask questions and trigger people, I have never been one liked by the masses and that is okay, that is my journey and I will for ever honour it I am healing my inner child, I am working through generations of trauma, I am peeling back layers and doing work that no one in my lineage has ever come close to This is how women should be healing, in a tent, beneath the full moon, playing drums, leaning on one another and sacred plant medicine - it was deep, dark and heavy, but equally as beautiful, magical and fucking radical 10/10 recommend 🍄 🏕️ 🌕 by @the_mush_womb_

For thousands of years, women sang together while mothering, grieving, celebrating, cooking, loving, healing. Song was never meant to be something we consumed through headphones alone. It was something we experienced together Our singing circles are not about “being good” at singing. They are about softening. Opening. Remembering. Feeling. Letting your nervous system feel held by the sound of other women beside you. A room full of mothers humming, swaying, laughing, crying, breathing and singing together feels like coming home to something ancient Maybe that’s why it moves us so deeply. It was such an honour hosting my first @the_mush_womb_ gathering 🥹 20 mothers showed up - ready to explore plant healing 🍄 Ready to open their hearts to support Ready to build community Ready to admit - this sh** is hard But also ready to honour their inner child, and heal so that their children don’t have to It’s such powerful work, creating these sacred spaces and meeting these incredible mamma’s who are breaking cycles and doing things differently The magic we feel when woman gather is literally something I cannot explain…even if I tried This space is so needed. In two weeks we gather…. This is a scared space, it’s been shared mostly via word of mouth. The intention is pure. The intention is to gift mothers with a safe space, and a community. The intention is to remind us that we are not alone. The intention is to give us strength, when we feel like we can no longer go on… The intention is to exhale. I started microdosing around five months postpartum after my second baby. I was in a very dark place. Everything felt heavy - getting out of bed, getting dressed, being present, being a mom was really hard I knew I couldn’t keep pushing through, I was barely surviving, so I reached out to my mom circle. A few mothers shared their experiences with microdosing, and something in me just knew. This was my answer. Microdosing didn’t change who I was - it helped me come back to myself. To the mother I knew I was beneath the fog. Postpartum depression and anxiety often peak between 3–6 months after birth, when the support fades but the load is still heavy It breaks my heart that mothers are afraid to ask for help. Ashamed to say, this is hard. Ashamed to choose support in forms that don’t fit the socially acceptable boxes. Motherhood is sacred work It’s relentless It’s beautiful And it deserves real support This is why I’ve created @the_mush_womb_ A space for mothers to gather, share their experiences, and be held To slowly and safely integrate into the microdosing journey - together, in community You’re not broken You’re tired. Six months ago, I made a decision that changed my life 🍄‍🟫 And I am only feeling ready to share about it now… A few months before that, I hit the postpartum dip - a very real and common window around 4–6 months after birth, when hormones are still shifting, sleep deprivation has accumulated, and support has often dropped off. This is actually a peak time for postpartum depression to surface, even though everyone assumes you’re “back to normal.” I wasn’t. I was having dark thoughts. Everything felt heavy. Even getting out of bed felt like the most difficult task The transition to becoming a mother of two was far more intense than I expected. It was busy. Loud. Constant. Overstimulating. Overwhelming. On top of that, I started a very high-pressure job at just three months postpartum 😮‍💨 (typical me thinking I can do it all) My body was still healing. I was barely sleeping. There was no space to land My nervous system was completely wrecked. I was living in survival mode - and when your nervous system is shot, even the simplest things feel impossible So I reached out to my mamma community for help. Because I knew I needed it Microdosing was brought up and it deeply resonated with me right away, and I committed to it for six months. It genuinely changed my life. Microdosing became a powerful support in motherhood, helping me feel more regulated, present, and emotionally resourced. Then, six months later, I felt called to go deeper. 🍄‍🟫 Five days before my second baby turned one, I went on a journey. 5g of shr00ms in a safe space with the most incredible woman who held me through it all 😮‍💨 I travelled to the places within me that needed healing. I came back with lessons I’m still integrating. I cried. I laughed. I released. I understood. Healing isn’t linear. It unfolds. Gently. In layers.
