I didn't build The Nesting Space because motherhood was easy for me. I built it because I know what it feels like when it isn't. 🤎

When my second baby was born in 2022, something shifted inside me.

I carried experiences, emotions and pain that I couldn't simply put away and pretend hadn't happened.

And somewhere in the middle of becoming a mother all over again, I realised something.

I didn't want another woman to feel the way I had felt.

To feel unheard. To question herself. To carry things silently when she deserved to be held, supported and understood.

I couldn't change what I'd been through. But I could choose what I did with it.

So I began creating what I wish I'd had.

A space where mothers matter too. Where their voices are heard, their experiences are honoured, and they don't have to navigate everything alone.

The Nesting Space was born from pain, but it is being built with love, purpose and the belief that mothers deserve so much more.

This isn't just something I'm building.

It's something I needed to exist. 🌿🤎 I believe deeply in the transformation this space has for women I am dreaming big.

If you’ve landed here feeling like motherhood is somehow harder than you thought it would be, welcome. 🤍

The Nesting Space is for the mother who is doing so much, holding so much, and still quietly wondering why she doesn’t quite feel like herself.

For the mother who says “I’m fine” when she’s not even sure she is.

For the mother who wants more than surface-level conversation.

For the mother who wants somewhere she can slow down, be listened to properly, feel understood and receive some of the care she spends all week giving to everyone else.

You don’t need to be struggling “enough” to belong here.

You don’t need to have motherhood figured out.

You can just arrive as you are.

That is exactly why I created The Nesting Space. 🤍

And a little note about these images: every photograph in this carousel is from my own groups and spaces — real mothers, real babies and real moments from the work I have the privilege of holding.

With warmth

I think this is probably the clearest way I can describe my work:

I’m not a baby entertainer, and I don’t run baby classes.

My focus isn’t on keeping babies occupied for an hour and a half.

It’s on supporting the relationship that already exists between a mother and her baby.

Baby massage is one of the ways we do that.

Through touch, slowing down, noticing cues and learning to respond to the little person in front of you, we begin to explore something much deeper — attunement.

And whilst we’re supporting that relationship, I’m also paying attention to the mother within it.

How are you?
What do you need?
Where are you doubting yourself?
Where might you need care too?

And then there is community — being around other women in the same season, having honest conversations and remembering that you were never supposed to do motherhood entirely alone.

That is what Nurture, Nestle & Nectar is about.

Baby massage is part of it.

But the heart of the work is mother, baby and relationship. 🤍

Sometimes it’s not the parenting itself that feels the hardest. It’s having to do so much of it without a village.🤎

And I don’t think we talk enough about the opportunities, freedom and breathing room that can disappear when you don’t have people to call on.

It’s not about expecting grandparents or extended family to give up their lives.

It’s about recognising that when support isn’t available, somebody still has to carry everything.

And so often, that somebody is the mother.

The childcare arrangements. The missed opportunities. The extra costs. The constant planning. The feeling that you can’t quite move forward because there isn’t anybody to catch you when you need a hand.

Two things can be true: our families can have their own needs and choices, and we can still feel the weight of not having their support.

I’d love to open up this conversation again.

**Has the lack of a village affected what you’ve been able to do for yourself, your family or your future?** 🤎

🤎 60 seconds to return to yourself. 🕊️

Sometimes, that’s all we need to begin.

Not an hour of quiet, a perfectly calm house or a whole morning to ourselves.

Just 60 seconds to pause, come back into our bodies and notice how we’re actually feeling.

This is a little practice I return to myself several times throughout the day. It’s become part of my daily rhythm, little moments of coming home to myself amongst the busyness of life and motherhood.

And it’s something I gently weave into my work with mothers, too.

Because so often, we’re moving through our days tending to everyone else’s needs, responding, giving, doing, holding so much.

And somewhere amongst it all, we can lose touch with ourselves.

**But what if we gave ourselves little moments to come back?**

To notice our breath.

To feel our bodies.

To soften just a little.

To ask ourselves, *what do I need right now?*

60 seconds won’t make everything disappear. But it can create just enough space to hear yourself a little more clearly, to notice what’s happening within you and begin responding to yourself with care.

And the more we practise, the more familiar that pathway back to ourselves can become.

This is why I love these small, gentle practices. They’re not about adding another thing to our already full days.

They’re about weaving moments of connection and nervous system care into the life we’re already living.

A little pause. A little noticing. A little returning.

**You deserve to be someone you tend to, too.** 🤎

Save this little 60-second practice and come back to it whenever you need a moment for yourself.

With love,
Jade 🌿

So much of early motherhood is spent learning how to care for your baby.

But who’s looking after you? 🤎

I created The Nesting Circle because I believe mothers deserve more than advice, information and another activity to fill their week.

They deserve to be understood, nourished, listened to and supported through the enormous transition of becoming a mother.

And sometimes, having somewhere to go each week where you don’t have to hold everything together can make such a difference.

**You don’t have to be struggling to deserve that care.**

🤎 A few spaces remain for our final six-week circle, beginning **2 November** in Shrewsbury.

Our **2027 waiting list** is also open if you’d like to join us next year.

All the details are through the link in my bio.

I’d love to welcome you both.

🕊️ Watch out for part 2 - return to yourself in 60 seconds

“Just stay calm.”

But what if calm doesn’t feel very accessible to you right now?

When you’re running on broken sleep, constantly responding to your baby’s needs, feeling touched out and carrying so much, your nervous system can spend a lot of time on high alert.

And being told to relax doesn’t necessarily help.

Mothers don’t just need to be told to regulate themselves. They need opportunities to experience what feeling supported and settled can be like. 🤎

Sometimes we need someone alongside us. Someone who listens, reassures us and helps us feel safe enough to soften a little.

This is part of what we gently explore in The Nesting Circle.

Through nervous system support, restorative sound and sensory experiences, meaningful connection and being together in a professionally held, nurturing space.

There’s no expectation to arrive feeling calm or to have everything together.

You get to be cared for, too.

🤎 Our final six-week Nesting Circle of 2026 begins 2 November, with a few spaces still available.

If you’re longing for some breathing room, connection and deeper postpartum support, I’d love to welcome you and your baby.

Our next circles will be in 2027, and the waiting list is open if you’d like to plan ahead.

You’ll find all the details through the link in my bio.

Nervous system support by @the_nesting_space_community_

You are NOT a bad mum. 🤎

You’re mothering in a world that has made raising babies far more isolating than it was ever meant to be.

For much of human history, mothers had more hands around them. Hands to hold the baby, prepare food, share the load and give a mother some breathing room.

But today, so many mothers are spending long days alone with their babies, giving so much of themselves, often with very little support in return.

And when you’re constantly needed, constantly touched, constantly giving your time, energy and attention, even the simplest things can feel difficult.

Having a shower. Moving your body. Eating a meal in peace. Having a moment to gather your thoughts.

And somewhere along the way, we’ve been made to believe that if we’re finding it hard, we must be doing something wrong.

But what if you’re not struggling because you’re a bad mother? What if you’re struggling because you’re doing something that was never meant to be done alone?

You can love your baby deeply and still need space.

You can be grateful for motherhood and still wish someone would look after you, too.

And sometimes, it’s not even about wanting to be away from your baby. It’s about wishing there were more hands around you, so you didn’t have to carry everything yourself.

This is one of the reasons I created The Nesting Circle.

A professionally held postpartum space where you and your baby are both welcome. Somewhere you can put some of that weight down, find a little breathing room, connect with other mothers and receive some of the care you’ve been giving so freely.

You can keep your baby close, or welcome another pair of caring hands to hold them for a little while, if that’s what you need.

Because you deserve to be held through motherhood, too.

🤎 Our final six-week Nesting Circle of 2026 begins on 2 November, with just a few spaces remaining.

If you’re feeling the pull towards a little more support, I’d love to welcome you.

And if now isn’t the right time, you can join the waiting list for our 2027 circles.

You’ll find the details through the link in my bio.

You can love your baby deeply and still need someone to care for you, too. 🤎

Because something enormous happens when you become a mother.

Your body changes. Your identity shifts. Your relationships evolve. And yet, so much of the support around you focuses on the baby.

But what about the mother?

This is why I created The Nesting Circle.

Not another baby class, but six weeks of professionally held, mother-centred postpartum care.

Two hours each week where you don't have to hold everything alone.

A space to slow down, be deeply listened to, connect with other mothers and receive some of the care you've been giving.

Through gentle nervous system support, grounding, restorative sound, reflection, meaningful conversation and moments of rest.

There's tea, nourishment, softness and breathing room, with your baby welcomed alongside you.

Every circle is intuitively guided, with space for what you need that day.

Nothing to perform. Nothing you have to share. Just somewhere you can arrive as you are.

My hope is that over our six weeks together, you begin to feel less alone, more connected to yourself and more trusting of your own motherhood.

Because you deserve to be held through this enormous transition, too.

This isn’t about entertaining your baby.

And it isn’t about finding another thing to do with them.

It is about creating the right environment for ( you )to slow down, notice your baby more deeply, and build connection through touch, attunement and presence.

With me there to gently guide and support you.

There are lots of reasons mothers come to baby massage because they want to do something lovely for their baby.

And of course, your baby is deeply held in mind.

But what I love most about baby massage is that it gives you both a reason to slow everything down.

You begin to notice:

How does my baby respond to my touch?
What are they showing me?
Do they want more? A pause? Closeness? Movement?

And gradually, massage becomes less about remembering a sequence of strokes and more about learning the baby in front of you.

But here’s the part I care about just as much…

something begins to happen for the mother too.

You slow down.
You become more present.
You start trusting what you notice.
You have dedicated time where nobody is asking you to achieve anything.

And the focus shifts from:

“What should I be doing with my baby?”
to:
“What is happening between us?”

That is why baby massage at Nurture, Nestle and Nectar has never just been about massage.

It is about you, your baby and the relationship you are building together. 🤍
