Whats your state bird? Would you like to see this as a print or sticker? Let me know in the comments :)

Drawing birds reminds me off this one quite…Barnett Newman once said “Aesthetics is for the artist as ornithology is for the birds”

Citlaltépetl (from Náhuatl citlal(in) = star, and tepētl = mountain), otherwise known as Pico de Orizaba, is an active volcano and the highest volcano in North America, as well as the highest mountain in Mexico[1] and third highest peak in North America, after Denali of the United States and Mount Logan of Canada. It rises 5,636 metres (18,491 ft) above sea level in the eastern end of the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt, on the border between the states of Veracruz and Puebla.
.
I visited and camped in this location in late June it was a truly beautiful and magical place.

Visité este lugar y acampé allí a finales de junio; fue un sitio verdaderamente hermoso y mágico.

Pigeon or dove?
Had to look it up myself. Wikipedia says :
“In colloquial English, the smaller species tend to be called "doves", and the larger ones "pigeons",[2] although the distinction is not consistent,[2] and there is no scientific separation between them.[3] Historically, the common names for these birds involve a great deal of variation. The bird most commonly referred to as "pigeon" is the domestic pigeon, descendant of the wild rock dove, which is a common inhabitant of cities as the feral pigeon.” by @the_plant_child

Ralph Emerson said that a weed is simply a plant whose virtues we haven’t yet discovered. “Weed,” that is, is not a category of nature but a human construct, a defect of our perception.

I almost didn’t post this…
I made this illustration almost a year ago now. I never posted it for one reason or another. It’s been a strange and adventurous period of my life. This one represents the month of November, notice the seasonal features. All elements in this illustration are available for licensing opportunities and tattoo tickets. Dm me! by @the_plant_child
