Just a bit if inspiration for anyone that needs to hear this. My reflection: Thinking back to the day the very first copies of Book 1 arrived on my doorstep. It felt impossible until it was done. 💫
Then Book 2 followed, which was mostly written.
If you’ve been sitting on a major creative project, goal, or dream; this is your sign to take just one step toward it today.

We started coding projects on 9/18, building/designing week of: 10/1-8, and user-testing, fixing, presenting to each other, creating slides and citing evidence. They had soooooo much time.

I am working on book 2 trailer. I’m feeding in the aesthetics, the character art, and will use a combination of Adobe and runway to make them move in a cinematic trailer. Stay tuned.

Sunday inspiration. 🌤️
Seeing how these middle-grade adventures connect with real readers is exactly why I stay up late typing away.
To everyone who has ever left a quick review or comment: you keep independent authors going!

Spend Saturday celebrating my baby brother’s birthday, I’ll never forget the night. He was born, and I wanted to take him trick-or-treating when he was only a few days old lol.
We enjoyed beautiful scenery, I won & lost at Uno! Lots of pictures and catching up.

Ooohhhh, OK let’s play a trick-or-treat game. Tell me in the comments whether it’s a trick or a treat to read the book. You’ll have to mention your book title, and if I’m not showing it, I may have it on my Kindle or you’ll have to convince me to buy it.
Love doing these kind of Reels, let’s see how many different book titles we can get!

My new cinematic video. I created images on Canva, animated some there, then completed on Firefly & Runway.
Joshua Creed: Keeper of Worlds faces battles like Link in the Zelda games. Thanks @anibirchwrites for the reminder. Joshua also teaches lessons through the accompanying Codex for teachers. So many kids need these reminders, and it’s also got several literary project connections for grades 5-8.

It’s dangerous to go alone, so take this book recommendation!
📜⚔️
Imagine stepping into a world as vast, magical, and dangerous as Hyrule. You know, Zelda? Link? Navi? That’s exactly what awaits you in Joshua Creed: Keeper of Worlds.
If you miss the feeling of exploring hidden ruins, unlocking secrets, and diving headfirst into massive battles, this adventure was written for you. Armed with his courage and guided by Selia—a guardian voice who keeps him on his path—Joshua is about to take on a destiny bigger than any one world.

Good morning 🌞 My mornings begin with coffee, IG scrolling and work on my WIP & Reading. My TBR is long, and I know I can read any book from it, but I choose, but I feel an obligation to the writers that I told I would read their story, so I am following the order of my TBR. Call me a nerd, it’s okay. 👍
Reading @gkirkmanauthor and an ARC @karencwriter along with re-engineering Joshua Creed so I can continue drafting book 3.
How do you keep your head straight with it all?
