Encouraging promising talent in an often challenging business. Awards given annually for exceptional Bway or Off-Bway debuts. 🎭

POSTS STORIES REELS

What a joy to be part of the 80th Annual Theatre World Awards at the historic Longacre Theatre.

For the occasion, I had the pleasure of singing “A Girl with Too Much Heart” from The Prince of Grand Street—the beautiful Bob Merrill song I was fortunate enough to introduce to pre-Broadway audiences many years ago. Revisiting it brought back so many wonderful memories.

Pictured here with the marvelous Michael Lavine, whose musicianship always makes an evening even more special.

There is something deeply meaningful about gathering to celebrate new generations of theatre artists while honoring the songs and stories that continue to live on.

🎭❤️

Accepting my Theatre World Award @theatreworldawards for Outstanding Debut Performance for my role as Magical Mister Mistoffelees in @catsjellicleball 🪄✨👑

“Ever since I started dancing at the age of 9 my grandmother would always tell people “my grandbaby is going to be on tv and big stages” and look at me now. Fully transformed and elegantly standing tall, poised, otherworldly, and with the weight of it all I hold this torch that many greats have achieved. Now, it’s my turn to lead the bloodline of artists after me.“

@thee.ariess my son! You have always held the house down for me when I needed at most and when I don’t even ask. Literally the glitter to my magic. I love you so much forever and always!
