NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸🫡🦅🙏❤️🤠

Recently, Gary Sinise and his foundation flew my family and I to New Orleans to an event honoring WWII veterans at the @wwiimuseum.

That all came about after I interviewed Gary on my podcast (full episode coming soon), and we discussed giving back, and taking care of those that serve.

For my generation, we all need to take a moment, especially today, and take the time to honor and respect those that sacrificed it all on 9/11, 25 years ago. And respect to all who chose to serve because of it. I hope one day our country can be as unified as it was that day, without the events that brought us together as Americans. I promise I will continue to help others, and to tell the stories, educate my peers so no one truly forgets. 🇺🇸🦅🙏❤️🤠

With the 25th anniversary of 9/11 approaching tomorrow, we’d like to take time to honor the legendary Pat Tillman @pattillmanfnd. A man who gave up nearly $4 million dollars in guaranteed money to play in the @nfl, to go and fight for our country in the @usarmy, for what’s right, for freedom. 🇺🇸🫡

Recently Blake was recognized by Pats widow, Marie, for his continued efforts to not only help the children of veterans in need, but also being a leader as a young American, who understands what is truly important, and what our country needs from his generation.

Not many kids get that, or care about it, but Blake knows his path, and what he can, and will do, to help others always remember and honor our country.

Integrity, compassion, leadership, and authenticity, are the foundation of who Blake is, and will always be what separates him from many others. Keep doing the good work, son, and honoring great men like Pats, legacy.

The last couple days I had the massive honor of joining veterans from the greatest generation at a special event held in New Orleans @wwiimuseum at by the @garysinisefoundation. I was humbled by the stories of these great men, men like Don Graves, Joe Schott, Jack Myers, who served our nation during its most harrowing time, and did it all with humility and pride. I met former professional athletes like @donnie_edwards, who after a great @nfl career, has found his true calling in service with his @bestdefensefoundation. I met current day veterans, with stories that seemed like they should be out of a movie. Read about John Wayne Walding, a story of one man, who like countless others, give their all for this country. I was challenged by the military special forces elite, @usarmy Green Berets, and @usnavy SEALS, to continue my path, to help others, serve our country, and help my generation understand more about them, and to show the respect what our military and country deserve. Always. 🇺🇸

This all came about after I interviewed @garysiniseofficial a little while back, and we had an incredible talk about our country, and the people who serve it, and all we can, and should be doing for them. Despite our age difference, Gary and I see eye to eye on many things, and found a lot of common ground. What was supposed to be a quick 10 minutes or so, turned into a 45 minute conversation about everything I just mentioned, and more; life, family, being a good person, and a better American. Gary and I found so much in common, and I was so surprised, yet honored, that he thought enough of me, to fly us down to this event. I cannot fully express my gratitude, or how this impacted me as a young patriot, as well as my own philanthropic goals. Gary and I are only starting our friendship, and efforts to help those in need. People like my own father, who have, and will always give their all, for their country foreign and domestic, selflessly on the front lines.

A little while back, I had the privilege of collaborating with the @nhl all time goal scoring king, @aleksandrovechkinofficial, on a project for charity.

Through the kindness, and collaborative efforts between Ovi, myself and my newly formed nonprofit @theblakeproject, the @capitals, @msefoundation, @alteredegos.official, @vaultedcollect, @checkoutmycards, @heritage_sport, @heritageauctions, @beckett.bas @beckettcollect, we were able to put together a great selection of items signed by Alex, to benefit his work with the @thevfoundation and His GR8 CHASE for victory over cancer. ALL proceeds from this go directly to that cause, and the Monumental Sports and Entertainment Foundation, the charitable arm of the Washington Capitals and Wizards.

@michaelblaskewicz, created a custom Altered Egos piece of Ovi, depicting him as a Russian Bear, which is fitting as Alex is an absolute beast on the ice. Vaulted and their team donated customized frames for Alex’s sons, and COMC got the special edition sets of Alex from @upperdecksports to put in the frames. Alex’s sons are trading card fanatics like me, and we had a great time discussing and enjoying the hobby!

COMC and Upper Deck also got all the cards Alex signed for this, including a color match, red parallel COMPLETE SET of the GR8 Moments trading cards, signed in matching red ink. Heritage Auctions is currently auctioning off the items that were authenticated by Beckett, so please look for the link in the bio, or simply go to ha.com, and search “Ovechkin” to find the cards and limited edition signed artwork.

With Ovi returning for possibly his final season in the NHL, these items will be incredible additions to your collections, and a piece of the greatest goal scoring machine in NHL history, and also one of the most kind and generous players ever. Blake is a gift and miracle, for our family, and to everyone who truly knows him. Most of you know his story overcoming the odds when he was born. No one knows the reasons why other than the incredible NICU doctors, nurses and stuff in our local NICU.🙏

He is also here because of two people; God, and his mother. Be thankful for every day, live with more kindness in your heart, and no hate, and pray for those that need it.
