Your story could be someone else’s survival guide and most heatwaves sibling don’t realize that.

🔸 I started this page as a way to express my grief after losing my sister and I never knew I would end up helping so many people with my story. We stay quiet cause the loss feels too heavy to share or too complicated to explain but in reality someone out there feels the exact same way and needs someone to relate to.

🔸 I’ve learned that vulnerability doesn’t make you weak, it’s makes you relatable. There are a lot of people out there who feel alone in their grief journey and need to hear your story. God doesn’t build a testimony just to keep it quiet. He builds it to reach the people still stuck in the chapter you survived 🧡 by @thecalmsphere

Most people think moving on is the goal. Well it isn’t..

🔸 Moving on asks you to leave them behind and moving forward says you carry them into the life you’re still building. Your sibling is still a part of your journey and your story, they just aren’t here to watch it unfold in real time. If you are tired of feeling like you should be “over it” by now, STOP. There’s nothing wrong with you. You just need the right tools.

🔸 I’m building something for the woman who is ready to start thriving in their grief journey and not just surviving it. For the woman that is eager to step into her purpose while honoring their sibling. For the woman that knows they still deserve a beautiful life.

November is Worldwide Bereaved Siblings Month and I couldn’t let it pass without speaking up.

🔸 Nobody tells you that sibling loss is disenfranchised grief. You just feel it. People ask you how your parents are and forget to ask about you. There’s a specific kind of loneliness that comes with losing your first best friend. You’re grieving more than just a person. You’re grieving a future you thought you’d have and the person you were before they passed away.

🔸 You don’t have to go through this alone though. I created a FREE grief support app for people like us. It has so many resources, tools, a daily devotional, and so much more to help navigate your grief journey.

Four years ago I lost my sister and right after that, I lost myself too.

🔸 I spent two years trying to find my way back and what I learned during that time changed everything about how I understand loss, identity, and what it actually takes to rebuild. I’m DONE just surviving. I’m going to become everything my sister knew I could be.

🔸 I’m a grief educator and future public speaker. And I’m building a course + community on is with rebuilding after loss, because people can give you tools for the pain but rarely how to turn that pain into purpose and find who you are on the other side of the loss. That gap is exactly what I’m here for.

Your body isn’t punishing you, and most people never get told what it’s actually doing.

🔸 After my sister passed away, I felt that sting of guilt every time I felt a little bit of happiness again. Our bodies are getting used to a new reality where joy and loss share the same space. Learning how to allow both of them in at the same time is an important part of your grief journey.

🔸 This is what we work on in The Inner Sphere. With 3 weekly videos, digital worksheets that live in a web app designed only for subscribers, tools, and resources, you’ll learn to process your grief AND rebuild who you are one step at a time.

Grief doesn’t wait for an invitation.

🔸 It shows up when you’re laughing at dinner, when a song comes on, when you finally feel okay for 5 minutes and then it hits you all over again. And for a long time, a lot of us try to outrun it.

🔸 This movie showed the honest side of grief. You can run from grief but can’t escape it. It will find you wherever you are, that’s just what grief does. The was never to move on. It was to make room for the love you lost and still choose the life ahead of you.

I didn’t expect to deepen my faith when I lost my sister but it happened.

🔸 The only way I was going to survive the passing of my sister was to search for something deeper. Something that makes sense of the pain. Sibling loss has a way of forcing you to face what really matters in life. And that’s what happened to me.

🔸 Losing my sister awakened something in me and from that I’ve created this space here on Instagram, a podcast, and a grief support app. It has all been in honor of her 🧡

Bereaved siblings deserve to be celebrated for surviving the days that felt impossible.

🔸 It looks like showing up for people when you’re barely holding yourself together, finding a reason to keep going even when the grief feels overwhelming, and figuring oh who you are now that the sibling who helped shape you is gone. That’s the kind of strength that doesn’t get a trophy, but it should.

🔸 If you’ve been holding it all together and ready to rebuild your identity after losing your sibling, I built something specifically for you. It’s called The Inner Sphere. It’s an Instagram subscription with 3 weekly videos, an exclusive app, digital worksheets, free tools, and much more!

Grief doesn’t have a language but this song proves it doesn’t need one 😭

🔸We’ve all heard our moms blasting this when we were young and now I find out he actually wrote it for his sister who was in the hospital at the time!! As a bereaved sibling, who has lived that kind of pain, I can tell you, you feel every single word of this song deeply.

🔸 Music is one of the most powerful tools for processing grief because it reaches parts of you that words alone can’t. If you’ve ever heard a song that made you feel seen in your grief journey, drop the name below 🧡 by @thecalmsphere

I’m sharing this cause there is so much I wish I knew about grief when my sister passed away and you deserve to know sooner rather than later.

🔸You will feel like you lost who you were before the loss. And it’s true, you won’t be the same ever again. But somewhere deep inside, she’s still there. Waiting to be rebuilt and held again. You just need the right tools and support. Here’s what I want you to know: You aren’t behind, you’re allowed to be someone new, and asking for help isn’t weakness.
