Climate Live USA x New York Climate Week 🌇🇧🇷🪇

This Indigenous Peoples Day + Week we are highlighting all of the artful activations we did to continue the momentum we started building at COP30 in Belem Brazil to Be Together for the Amazon, working to elevate indigenous voices through arts, culture, & storytelling to highlight them as the true environmental stewards, leaders, & wisdom keepers of the climate movement. We are so grateful for all the collaborations that helped make these events possible with a special shoutout to @ericterena for being a key partner. Thank you to everyone who came out to support & please follow us for more on our NY Climate Week 🦋✨

@airplantnina x @symbiophilia fashion is the future 💚🍀🌱

I was so inspired to connect with Nina over the course of New York Climate Week & see all of her incredible fashion designs come to life on the @marketplaceofthefuture runway 💃🏼 Her fashion embodies the essence of solar punk by reimagining how plants can give us life both through fashion & by purifying the air we breathe while wearing it 🌻 I look forward to all the new creations that will come from this era of @symbiophilia mixed with the cyborg influences to create more conversations around how technology can advance with nature rather than against it 🤖

New York Climate Week: Peace for the Amazon💃🏼🪩🪭

We are so grateful to all the incredible artists, poets, DJs, & performers who joined us for our activation @djrockandsoul & @onstagedancewearny to light up the streets of New York with art, joy, music, & creativity. This project came together from momentum we created at COP30 in Brazil & have been growing over the course of this year. Our theme to “Be WUN or Be Together for the Amazon” works to uplift the Amazon as the global frontline community in the climate crisis. We are so proud of all we were able to do so stay tuned for more to come! 🏔️🌳💚✨

Shoutout to @katgraham for this World Song that is so fitting to everything we are working to create awareness around 🙏🏼

Incredibly grateful to @pbsnature for having us 💖

What an honor it was to be able to present the work of Climate Live alongside so many incredible & inspirational change makers. Also loved the panel discussion that was centered on the importance of intentional media that is geared towards creating an impact & providing new points of inspiration around climate & nature🌻✨ Also grateful for all the newfound connections that were made at this gathering & to continue building our network as we set the stage for what Climate Live USA will look like moving forward 🐘

Happy NY Climate Week with Rock and Soul! Spreading awareness through the arts for climate change! 📍Rock and Soul 49w 37th st Manhattan @mybeat2 @mothersoftheamazon @betheproject #climatechange #climateweek #nyc #rockandsoul by @theclimateliveusa

Join us for a ceremony of gratitude for St. Mary’s 🩵

Whatsapp Chat + RSVP link in bio!

We will join in the parking lot at 10 am before hiking up to hold ceremony with blessings, music, prayer, scientific information & more to honour the ice, the water it holds, and everything it makes possible.

Because the water held in glaciers is part of the same water cycle that sustains us all.

At St. Mary’s, we will gather to listen: to the land, to the water, and to the stories and knowledge carried across generations.

Glaciers remind us to pay attention while there is still time to understand, care, and respond.

Protecting glaciers is about protecting more than ice. It is about recognising our place within the living water cycle that connects us all. 💧🏔️ by @theclimateliveusa

Solutions Showcase & Block Party for the Amazon 🦜✨

Overview:

As part of New York Climate Week 2026, we are bringing NYCW Climate Live to the streets of New York across two full-day solutions showcases and block parties built to center the Amazon as a global frontline community in the climate crisis. Hosted first at Rock and Soul DJ Equipment and Records, in partnership with On Stage Dance Store next door, and then at Audio-Technica, the events turn retail storefronts into open, street-facing climate activations combining live broadcasting, music, dance, and grassroots climate action.

This is a celebration as much as it is a call to action: two days of creativity, culture, and community organizing designed to make climate solutions feel accessible, joyful, and urgent all at once.

What’s Happening:
Live Broadcasting & Podcasting — On-site live broadcast and podcast programming throughout the day, spotlighting Amazon frontline voices, climate leaders, and cultural changemakers.

Live Music & DJ Sets — A continuous lineup of DJs and live performers turning the block into a stage.
Dance Performances — Vibrant, high-energy dance programming in partnership with On Stage Dance Store.

Climate Hub & Art Installation — An interactive climate hub and art installation open to visitors throughout the week, offering an ongoing touchpoint beyond the single event day.

Street Block Party — Programming spills out of the storefronts and onto the street, creating an open-air, all-ages community activation in the heart of NYC.

Why It Matters:

The Amazon is one of the most critical — and most threatened — ecosystems in the global climate fight, and the communities who call it home are on the frontlines of that crisis. NYCW Climate Live is designed to shift the narrative from crisis fatigue to solutions and celebration, using music, dance, and media as tools to build genuine public engagement around Amazon protection and climate action. by @theclimateliveusa
