Thank you if you supported our request for donations to cover the cost of poppies for the village! We've put some up this morning and more will go up later today. They're certainly a fitting tribute, support the @royalbritishlegion and look splendid in the autumn sunshine we've experienced to today. It's not too late to make a donation the next time you're at the Barn! #royalbritishlegion #remembrance #poppyappeal by @thecoffee.barn
A time for rearrangement after Jazz yesterday afternoon and we've moved the sofa ... again! Today is also the day we start our Winter opening times ... we're now open from 10am Monday to Friday but still from 9am on Saturday and Sunday. What a glorious day for popping in the the Coffee Barn! #bestcoffee #cakelovers #autumnvibes #autumnvibes🍁 #autumnsun by @thecoffee.barn
Ooooohhhh, our Halloween weekend ends with a lovely jazz session with "Joshing Around" and the music seems to have caused a ghostly presence outside. Could the Coffee Barn be haunted?! #haunted #Halloween #supernatural #ghosts by @thecoffee.barn
At the Coffee Barn we're celebrating Bonfire Night on Thursday 5 November from 5pm and you're welcome to join us! Bonfire Night at the Coffee Barn will be a little bit different to other celebrations locally. It'll be child friendly with no fireworks, no noise and less intensity - a fun celebration and a time for community. We'll have a bonfire though, with a Guy, but it will be safely contained on a fire pit. No fireworks, so no loud bangs or bright lights, but we will have sparklers! Then the Coffee Barn magic happens! You'll also be able to try your hand at making a lantern to take home, test how good you are at Apple Bobbing and toast marshmallows! If you're feeling peckish there will be jacket potatoes, pizza, hot dogs and toffee apples available, all to be enjoyed with mulled wine, hot apple cider or scrummy hot chocolate! #bonfirenight #guyfawkes #community #CommunityEvent #childfriendly by @thecoffee.barn

First Sunday Jazz at the Coffee Barn seems to come around quicker than ever! On Sunday 1st November from 4pm, we're chuffed to bits to be welcoming Josh, Neil and Mat, collectively "Joshing About" to Buckminster! As always, this is a completely free to attend event. As it's proving more and more popular we recommend arriving early if you want the best seats in the house! #jazz #livemusic #livemusicvenue #communityfirst #joshingabouttrio by @thecoffee.barn
It's become a tradition locally to place large poppies on lamp posts in local villages for the fortnight up to and including Remembrance Sunday. It's a very visual reminder of the service, and sacrifice, that many have given over many decades. We will be supporting the Royal British Legion this year through the purchase poppies for display in and around the Barn. We'd love to see them throughout Buckminster and know that many of you would be keen to see this too. To this end we are placing an order for more poppies next week and invite you to sponsor one of them, maybe in memory of a relative or friend. The poppies cost £5, are durable and will be reused in future years. If you would like to join us in this act of remembrance you can do so in person at the Coffee Barn or by sending an email to info@buckminstercoffeebarn.co.uk #royalbritishlegion #poppyappeal #poppy #RemembranceSunday #remembrance #community by @thecoffee.barn
