Punjab, a love story! ⁣ ⁣ Director’s note: ⁣ ‘There’s always two sides to a story’ and that’s all what I could think about when listening to the most beautiful track I’ve heard in recent times, O Yaara by @abdulhannanmusic and @kaavishtheband⁣ ⁣ Two sides of the story of Punjab - told almost a thousand times, yet remains untold, their lives untouched and their pain unheard of. Even today, people of Lahore can listen to the radio in Amritsar and vice versa and that’s reason enough to believe that art and music transcend borders. Today, as the world is a very bizarre place to understand, I like to believe that love is the only cure that can make things better.⁣ ⁣ Massive shout out to our entire unit at The Colony for putting this beautiful film together. ⁣ ⁣ I introduce you, once again, to two of my favourite fictional characters created in 2015, Gul and Diljeet, in another universe. ⁣ ⁣ -Saad Sheikh⁣ ⁣ Produced by The Colony⁣ Director: @thesaadsheikh⁣ D.O.P. / Colour & Edit: @naveed.amjad⁣ Production design / stylist @hashimali90⁣ Location and setup @hashimalidesignstudios⁣ Assistant director: @hahahaseen⁣ MUA: @saimabargfrede @eeman.k & @joshuajavaidjohn ⁣ Cast: @swaytalentagency ⁣ Production manager: @faizan.batalvi⁣ Gaffer: @allahrakhabasheer⁣ ⁣ Special thanks to @giraffepakistan @lotusprglobal #ColonyFilms #TheColonyLahore by @thecolonylahore

We marked 504 shows this October. It’s been such a privilege dancing all over the world. Especially here at home in Pakistan. When we started and I was screaming I will be bringing dance everywhere in Pakistan and most of you laughed.. Between all the ifs and hows and where and what’s’. Our little baby The Colony grew 8 years old and we crossed the 500 event mark. Congratulations to everyone at the colony and everyone who loves dance. Cue the fireworks!! (This clip represents how we all felt after our last show) by @thecolonylahore
