Anime North Photography bookings Now Open When: Friday May 22nd through Sunday May 24th How To Book: PM @sorcerycinematics or send an email Cost: Pay What You Can / Tips Based system with no mandatory minimum, optional upon receiving final images. I'm Connor aka SorceryCinematics, a Toronto-Based Cosplay Photographer with around 10 Years of experience around camera work covering traditional shooting and effects work. Since August of 2025 I've been moving into Cosplay Photography initially building up portfolio and now transitioning it into a longer term plan. I tend to describe my style as Artistic and Cinematic with occasional Experimental aspects. Drawing from comics, movies, and videogames to create shots that feel like they're part of a story, scene, or world. Effects not pictured are possible though do require more time and are capped lower. As a note the shot of V has no effects applied the glow there was from a cyberpunk sword prop. The cap on final images is not a minimum. Image caps for groups will be determined on a case by case basis. Toronto Comic Con and Toronto Game Expo Photography - Additional Info Bookings are open for Toronto Comic Con (March 20th to 22nd) and Toronto Game Expo (March 28th and 29th). Its completely PWYC (Pay What You Can). I've got 10 Years of experience around camera work covering traditional shooting and effects work, and have been building up a larger portfolio in Cosplay photography since August of 2025. I tend to describe my style as Artistic and Cinematic with occasional Experimental aspects. Drawing from comics, movies, and videogames to create shots that feel like they're part of a story, scene, or world. In terms of the lenses, I'm intending to use the 24mm for at least one day of each con, which will lend into wider shots making use of the environment of shooting locations. At least one day across the cons will be dedicated to the 35mm as well. Lens plan is subject to change. Effects not pictured are possible though do require more time and are capped lower. All turnaround estimates go from March 30th due to convention proximity. The cap on final images is not a minimum. Image caps for groups will be determined on a case by case basis. The lighting on the lantern is just 😚👌 -chef's kiss- Very ✨ ethereal ✨ A lot of work was put into this cosplay and especially the lantern, so I love showing it off, and this photo captured it beautifully. The fact I got to show it off to @davejonesactor is definitely a huge highlight for me. 💚🐻💚 Event - Baldur's Gate 3 Photoshoot Hosts - @rotidemedia @kookabrophoto Cosplayer - @infectious.cosplay Photographer - @theconnormccann Venue - Kariya Park #moonlantern #baldursgate3 #fantasy #Halsin #cosplay by @theconnormcn
One final post from the @guardiansofhopetoronto shoot @vintagelightstudios back in April, @nancyz.art was onsite doing sketch commissions and that was way too cool an opportunity to pass up. Genuinely the scan captures just a fraction of how cool this sketch looks. I had wanted to post it far sooner but only recently ran into them to confirm permission to do so and only more recently was able to get a chance to scan a jpg copy #redhood #batfamily #guardiansofhope by @theconnormcn
Last night was final stream of the year, so time for a little recap. 52 total streams (0 to 51, 0 not pictured) Total time of 176h 21m (average 3h 28m per stream) 8 games completed of an originally counted 27 by the end of stream 49, roughly 30% 1 game beaten at an average of every 6.1 streams and an average of 20h 45m. Roughly 2% of my year spent making progress on my games backlog. All in all, the singular most successful new years resolution I've ever made. Will be continuing on with it into 2026 and hoping my 2026 resolution will prove similarly successful. #2025inreview #thebacklogquest #gaming by @theconnormcn

Another October over, another horror movie run concluded. Yet again the record has been broken and a new statistic set. 31 Days, 42 Horror (or horror adjacent) movies. 83% of movies watched have been via DVD or Bluray either from my own collection or from Toronto Public Library. Top two I think have to go to Good Boy and Final Destination Bloodlines (very happy to see TPL had some copies). by @theconnormcn
