When I tell you that the photos I got from my Evander photoshoot is some of my favorites … I could honestly live in this reality for forever and be indescribably happy.

There’s never enough Folk of the Air art out there — so I’ll make sure I do my part to continue telling their story.

Meet Casper - Our Azriel 🖤

Some heroes never seek the spotlight.

They protect, they endure, and they love quietly.

For Casper, that character has always been Azriel.

An actor and cosplayer for more than a decade, Casper discovered theatre early in life and has spent the last five years pursuing it professionally. Whether he’s reading botanical horror, hiking mountain trails, or traveling across the country with his wife in their Subaru, storytelling has always been at the heart of who he is.

Like so many readers, A Court of Thorns and Roses rekindled his love of reading as an adult. Velaris quickly became a place that felt like home, and the journeys of its characters inspired him to pursue dreams that once felt out of reach.

As a trans man, Casper believes it’s important to see many different expressions of masculinity represented in stories. That’s why Azriel resonates so deeply with him.

“He may not have Cassian’s brute strength or Rhys’ charismatic confidence, but he is unwavering…a devoted friend who offers his love from the shadows.”

Today, Casper brings that quiet strength, loyalty, and compassion to life as our Azriel for The Midnight Fae Ball.

“𝚑𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚘, 𝚏𝚎𝚢𝚛𝚎 𝚍𝚊𝚛𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐…”

What a magical night. Thank you to everyone who came out to @foxandemberball’s first ever event — and thank you, from the absolute bottom of my heart, for allowing me to be your High Lord of the evening. You’re now all apart of my inner circle. 💜 by @thecrownofcasper

The fifth post in my bookish poster editing series is “The Cruel Prince” from The Folk of the Air series. Thank you to Casper and Ashe for letting me edit and play around with your Cardan and Jude photos!!

In the first picture, I did a broken glass type look with quotes from the series that I thought matched the vibes of the edit, and in the second photo, I just edited Casper and Ashe together from the individual character photos I was given. The original photos they took were already amazing and incredible, so I thought of adding a simple edit to emphasize their iconicness lol.

Stay tuned for the next one…
