Mercedes ML | Paint Correction & Borophene Coating Straight out of a mafia boss’s driveway. All black, aggressive and looking seriously mean. 😎 This one’s Wayne’s from Swift Performance Exhausts, a man with champagne taste and a lemonade budget. 🤣 Wayne wanted show-car-level paint correction for as little money as physically possible. Obviously, that wasn’t happening, but we could certainly make it look mega! Here’s what went into it: • Single-stage paint correction – Prioritising the areas that would deliver the biggest improvement, restoring clarity, depth and gloss without the cost of an extensive multi-stage correction. • Borophene Coating – We tried a new coating from Sleek Custom’s Garage containing borophene. Interesting new technology that we’re keen to explore. Does it work? Time will tell. Wayne’s budget made him the perfect test subject. 🤣 The end result was absolutely unreal. Deep, glossy black paintwork with a serious improvement throughout. Wayne will probably tell you otherwise, though. He’s still convinced rubbing cars with Autoglym Super Resin Polish and a dirty cloth is the best thing since sliced bread. Some people just can’t be pleased. 🤣 All jokes aside, a fantastic transformation without unnecessary expense. Precision. Protection. Perfection. 📍 The Detailing Autohaus | Rotherham Professional paint correction, ceramic coatings and premium car detailing across Rotherham, Sheffield and Barnsley. 📩 Message us for enquiries and bookings. #MercedesML #MercedesDetailing #PaintCorrection #BoropheneCoating #CarDetailingRotherham #CarDetailingSheffield #SouthYorkshireDetailing by @thedetailingautohaus
Range Rover Sport | Piano Black | Paint Correction & Ceramic Protection This customer usually waits until he’s selling his cars before having them detailed. This time, he wanted to actually enjoy one looking its best! 🔥 And this one certainly put us to work. Here’s what went into it: • Paint Decontamination – Overspray absolutely everywhere, requiring extensive solvent work and clay barring to remove. • Driver’s Side Correction – A shocking previous repaint had left sanding marks throughout. Localised 3000-grit wet sanding followed by a two-stage correction achieved 95% improvement, leaving the area looking virtually brand new in most lighting conditions. • Bonnet & Roof – Severe tree sap etching required serious attention. Complete removal would have meant extensive sanding, with the risk of defects reappearing through thermal cycling. A two-stage correction delivered a massive improvement while respecting the budget. • Overall Correction – The remaining paintwork received a single-stage machine polish, restoring clarity, depth and gloss. • Fireball Aegis Ceramic Coating – Currently being tested as our potential 2-year coating option. With 70% solid content, exceptional hardness and flexibility to accommodate thermal cycling, it offers serious physical protection, particularly suited to softer paint systems. Not quite as slick as our other coatings, but the focus here is physical protection, durability and long-term stability. The result? You’d never know the condition it arrived in. An incredible transformation without unnecessary paint removal. Precision. Protection. Perfection. 📍 The Detailing Autohaus | Rotherham Professional paint correction, ceramic coatings and premium car detailing across Rotherham, Sheffield and Barnsley. 📩 DM for enquiries and bookings. #RangeRoverSport #PaintCorrection #CeramicCoating #FireballAegis #CarDetailingRotherham #CarDetailingSheffield #SouthYorkshireDetailing by @thedetailingautohaus
BMW X5 M50d | Paint Correction & Ceramic Protection This thing is an absolute monster on the road! 🔥 Finished in gloss black, with an aggressive body kit and contrasting silver wheels, this X5 M50d has some serious road presence. In with us for an extensive transformation, focusing on restoring the paintwork and protecting every detail. Here’s what went into it: • Aggressive single-stage paint correction using a heavy-cut Lake Country blue pad paired with Regenerate compound. Worked extensively to maximise defect removal while allowing the compound to diminish down to a beautifully refined, high-gloss finish. • Fireball 3-year ceramic coating, taking the depth and richness of the black paintwork to another level, with outstanding gloss, hydrophobic protection and easier maintenance. • Wheels-off detailing package — wheels removed, thoroughly deep cleaned and ceramic coated for lasting protection and easier cleaning. • Brake calipers and arch liners extensively cleaned, treated and protected, leaving everything looking as impressive behind the wheels as the rest of the vehicle. The transformation was incredible. Deep, glossy black paintwork, immaculate wheels and attention to detail throughout. Precision. Protection. Perfection. 📍 The Detailing Autohaus | Rotherham Specialists in professional paint correction, ceramic coatings and premium car detailing across Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley and South Yorkshire. 📩 Message us to discuss your vehicle. #BMWX5 #BMWM50d #BMWDetailing #PaintCorrection #CeramicCoating #WheelsOffDetailing #CarDetailingRotherham #CarDetailingSheffield #SouthYorkshireDetailing by @thedetailingautohaus
VW Caddy Wolfsburg Edition | Enhancement & Ceramic Protection This one’s a personal favourite! I’ve always had a soft spot for a clean, modified Caddy, and this Wolfsburg Edition certainly didn’t disappoint. 🔥 In with us for our entry-level ceramic coating package, offering fantastic results and long-term protection without the cost of extensive paint correction. Here’s what went into it: • Full paintwork preparation and decontamination. • Gloss enhancement polish, bringing out extra depth, clarity and gloss. • 2-year ceramic coating, providing excellent hydrophobic properties, protection and easier ongoing maintenance. Being a low-mileage example in fantastic condition, it didn’t need aggressive correction. Just a well-executed enhancement to take an already clean vehicle to the next level. And the results? Absolutely phenomenal. Proof that you don’t always need extensive paint correction to achieve an incredible finish. Our entry-level ceramic packages start at just £450 for cars and £550 for vans. Quality workmanship, excellent protection and outstanding value. Precision. Protection. Perfection. 📍 The Detailing Autohaus | Rotherham Professional car detailing, paint correction and ceramic coatings across Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley and South Yorkshire. 📩 Message us to discuss our ceramic coating packages. #VWCaddy #CaddyWolfsburg #ModifiedCaddy #CeramicCoating #PaintEnhancement #CarDetailingRotherham #CarDetailingSheffield #SouthYorkshireDetailing by @thedetailingautohaus
Jaguar F-Pace | Paint Correction & Ceramic Protection The transformation on this one was incredible. The red paintwork now has some serious depth, clarity and gloss! 🔥 Here’s what went into it: • Full single-stage paint correction, achieving up to 85% defect removal on this softer paintwork. The difference was night and day. • Localised 3000-grit wet sanding on the front bumper to remove remaining marks from previous paintwork finishing. • Fireball Stella ceramic coating, chosen by the customer after seeing how well it performed on her partner’s vehicle. Exceptional slickness, hydrophobic performance and gloss that’s off the charts. • Extensive paint touch-ups across the lower sections to address heavy road rash and stone chips. • Engine bay extensively deep cleaned and detailed to a standard the customer had never seen before. • Interior was already in excellent condition, so a light detail was all that was needed. The end result speaks for itself. That red is absolutely stunning now! Precision. Protection. Perfection. 📍 The Detailing Autohaus | Rotherham Specialists in paint correction, ceramic coatings and premium car detailing across Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley and South Yorkshire. 📩 Message us for enquiries and bookings. #JaguarFPace #PaintCorrection #CeramicCoating #FireballStella #CarDetailingRotherham #CarDetailingSheffield #SouthYorkshireDetailing by @thedetailingautohaus
Sleek Customs Garage sent us their new Borophene coating to try out, and we’ve got to say, we’re impressed. Genuinely the easiest coating we’ve ever applied. Absolutely effortless to work with, super slick and the gloss levels are mega. We’ve used a lot of different coatings over the years, so it’s nice when something new actually surprises us. Obviously we can’t comment on longevity just yet, that’ll take some proper real-world testing. But as far as application, gloss and slickness go, it’s been excellent so far. Interested to see how it holds up over time 👀 #Borophene #SleekCustomsGarage #TheDetailingAutohaus #CeramicCoating #CarDetailing by @thedetailingautohaus
🔥 Volvo XC90 | Paint Correction & Ceramic Protection Another one for Scott at Vogue Window Tinting! Because Scott’s an absolute boyo, we decided to go to town on this one. 😂 🔴 Paint Correction – Isolated multi-stage correction on the passenger side to remove severe tree damage, followed by an aggressive single-stage correction across the rest of the vehicle to restore clarity and gloss. 🔴 Ceramic Protection – Fireball Butterfly Graphene topped with Fireball Stella, combining durable protection with exceptional slickness, gloss and hydrophobic performance. 🔴 Paint Touch-Ups – Previous poor touch-ups removed and redone properly for a cleaner, more consistent finish. 🔴 Interior & Engine Bay – Both received a fresh detail to complete the transformation. Massive improvement all round! Thanks again to Scott for the continued support. 🤝 Precision. Protection.
