Finally on the mend !! Thank you @bellamy.md for helping me with my cartilage infection and of course my beautiful face lift !! #feelingbetter #thedianneedit #faceliftrecovery #earpiercing #womenover60 piercing by @thedianneedit

The ear piercing nightmare continues! 😩

What started as a simple ear piercing turned into an emergency clinic visit to have an embedded earring removed.

And now? My ear is still infected and incredibly painful!

I went through a facelift, a lip lift AND CO2 laser resurfacing, and I honestly never expected an ear piercing to give me this much trouble!

I’m sharing the good, the bad, and apparently the extremely painful parts of aging strong. 😂
Have any of you experienced this? If you have please share how this nightmare ends …#earpiercinggonewrong #thedianneedit #healingjourney #agingstrong #reallifeupdate life update by @thedianneedit

It’s 4 PM… you know what that means! 🍷🌱

Happy hour & the garden!

Four weeks ago, I planted my little vegetable garden, and look at it now!

A little sunshine, a little patience, and a whole lot of love. 🌿

Who knew watching vegetables grow could be this exciting?

Cheers to growing something beautiful! 🥂#thedianneedit #gardenupdate #happyhour #floridagardening #agingstrong by @thedianneedit

Who knew an earring could land me in an emergency clinic?! 😳

What started as a simple ear piercing turned into an unexpected trip to the emergency clinic when my earring got stuck in my ear and had to be removed! And let me tell you, the pain was EXCRUCIATING! I’m not exaggerating when I say this hurt WAY more than my facelift and CO2 laser combined! 😳

Definitely NOT how I planned to spend my day! 😂

Has this ever happened to you? I’d love to hear your stories!#earpiercing #faceliftrecovery #earpiercinggonewrong #pain #thedianneedit by @thedianneedit

61 years old and making international headlines! 🌎

If you had told me a few months ago that sharing my facelift journey would lead to international media coverage, I never would have believed you!

First The Daily Beast, and now Canada! 🇨🇦

What started as simply sharing my experience has become something so much bigger.

To everyone who has followed along, encouraged me, asked questions, and shared their own stories — THANK YOU!

You are such a big part of this journey, and I’m so grateful.#thedianneedit #agingstrong #womenover60 #reinventyourself #60isthenew30 by @thedianneedit

⚡ Nerve regeneration after a facelift… nobody talks enough about this part of recovery!

Almost 8 weeks post-op, and the healing continues! The tingling, itching, little electric zaps, and numbness are all part of what I’m experiencing.

What I’ve learned? Just because you look healed on the outside doesn’t mean everything underneath has finished healing. Sensory nerves can take months to recover!

I’m sharing the good, the bad, and the unexpected because facelift recovery is so much more than before-and-after pictures!

💬 Who’s experienced these strange sensations? How long did yours last?

7 weeks since my facelift… and I thought it was time to freshen up my hair color! 🤍✨

I can’t believe how quickly these weeks have gone by. Some days I look in the mirror and notice something new, and other days I have to remind myself to be patient. Healing really is a process!

I’m still a little swollen, but I’m feeling better and more like myself every day. And I have to say, getting my hair done felt so good! 💕

Just wanted to share a little update with you all. Thank you for following along and being part of this journey with me. It means more than you know! 🥰
Big shout to Veronica @4emmygirl for my new look 👀
