POV: you have to replace the starter on the million mile engine 2UZ-FE 4.7L V8 and apparently Toyota looked at a perfectly good engine and said:

“Where should we put the starter?”

Engineers: “I know… underneath the intake manifold, deep in the engine valley.” 🤦‍♂️

So now it’s an engine-valley expedition, emotional-support intervention, and prayer request. 😂

Toyota engineers: 🧑‍💻
Technician: “Wilson…” 🏝️

SIR… PLEASE TRUST THE PROCESS

Welcome to DriveCenter. Where there’s a method to the madness…. 😂 by @thedrivecenter

I caught up with our tech while he was working on this Jeep, and we got into the details of what changes when you start adding aftermarket suspension parts, lift kits, and bigger tires.

We are learning something new every day🔧 let’s be honest… we all love a good-looking Jeep, but we also want it to drive right and not chew through a set of tires.

A blown fuse is the answer to the problem… but it’s RARELY the cause.

Today’s lesson for our apprentice: slow down, verify complaint, understand the circuit, and diagnose before replacing anything.

Because a good technician doesn’t just know what to replace.

They know WHY it failed. 🔧⚡

That’s the difference between parts changing and real diagnostics.

The “good men” are out here changing wheel bearings on the concrete, watching YouTube tutorials, convincing themselves this is the last mod, and spending their spare money on car parts instead of vacations. 😂

The shop power struggle is real 🔧 vs 🖊️

Reality is, the shop only works when both sides do their job. Techs think advisors just answer phones. Advisors think techs disappear for “one quick test drive.” Meanwhile, everyone’s just trying to make it to 5 o’clock 🥴🤝 by @thedrivecenter

The best kind of friend is the one that talks you into what you really want 😉
