I was told to stop keeping moments in my phone and let the world enjoy my light… so here it is.

When the spirit of Brazil hits and the congas 🪘🪘 call… I answered. Some were shocked, some were inspired — either way, they heard me 🔥

I was blessed with the opportunity @enroottravel @wheres.kit to visit Salvador, Brazil back in 2023, a place rich with history, beauty, resilience and the powerful spirit of its Afro Brazilian culture. By the grace of God, I witnessed a tribute celebration and of course the congas 🪘🪘called me!

After the tribute, I asked if I could play. They said yes. One by one I brought three drums together and played whatever was on my soul. I’m an in the moment person. What I didn’t know was that my tour guide recorded the whole thing 😅

The reactions say it all!! Surprised, Curious, Intrigued… and yes, at the end you can spot that ONE lady tryna shoo me away 😂 There’s always that one hater in life. But what’s for you will always find you!

I guess I left a mark, because they said they’d never seen anything like it.
Here’s to culture, rhythm, God’s grace and stepping into moments you’re called to.

Still in shock from last weekend 🤯 In house drummer for the Black Girl Art Show DC. Truly an experience I’ll never forget 🔥 Drumming in front of 6,000 ppl on a Sunday. SOLD OUT.

For the first time, I felt like I was in a community where my bright light wasn’t dimmed. The energy in that room was real! I met some dope artists, performed alongside amazing talent and felt nothing but love.

The best part? My family got to share this moment with me. My daughter celebrated her 7th birthday by walking and dancing down the runway 💃🏽 and my 85 YR OL grandma stole the show with her beautiful smile and smooth two step. 💕

For them to see me live on stage … UNFORGETTABLE 😮‍💨🔥🔥🔥🔥 Thank you @blackgirlartshow for creating space like this. 🙏🏽✨ 🗣️ DC WE DID THAT

JACKSON 5 said “I WANT YOU BACK”…
MORGAN STATE SAID.. “WE NEVER LEFT!” 😮‍💨💂🏾‍♂️🥁🔥

They came to BATTLE OF THE BANDS… but
The Magnificent Marching Machines came to remind y’all WHO THEY ARE 🥁💿😎💿
M3 understood the assignment 😮‍💨🔥

This day marked a special day …. the King of Pop birthday ✨ And there I was, on stage doing what I do BEST 🪘

For 2 years, I’ve had the honor of bringing my Congo drumming to the Black Girl Art Show creating an experience that moves beyond music!

With 100+ talented Black women in the building, surrounded by creativity, culture, and unapologetic expression… I felt right at home. ✨

Thank you @blackgirlartshow for creating spaces for us to live in color, create freely and be seen ❤️ 🎨

God truly been doing HIS BIG ONE ☝🏾✨

Lately I’ve been praying, “Lord, order my footsteps. What’s for me, let it be for me. And what’s not for me, don’t let it hinder me, deter me, or pull me away from the path You have for me.”

And somehow… here I am 🥹🔥

We Back 🗣️

I’m officially performing at the Black Girl Art Show D.C. as the In House Drummer on Saturday, August 29th! 🖤🎨🪘🪘🪘🪘

Last year, we did it BIG! Jolie stole the runway for her birthday, Grandma celebrated her 85th by stepping the night away, and the whole night was pure Black joy🖤

Now it’s YEAR 2 for me… and I’m even more excited about what this journey is unfolding into🙏🏾✨

Come celebrate over 100+ Talented Black women, our creativity, our craft, our culture, and our excellence in living color. This isn’t just an art show….it’s a whole VIBE🙌🏽🔥

👀 This really feeling like a Morgan M3 @morganstatebands takeover!
I’m on the Congos 🪘🪘🪘🪘
@vonladona on the Sax 🎷
So you already know the energy is about to be 😮‍💨🔥

Good energy. Good people. Good art. Live music. Black excellence. Come vibe with us!

Can u handle it wit @usher 🫦😮‍💨🔥

Going on stage, dancing, entertaining the crowd… it’s just a few cherries🍒😂

All this discourse got folks forgetting the point. If it ain’t your thing, cool. But just because something didn’t go your way doesn’t mean it’s time to belittle everybody else on socials (some like clout)

While y’all arguing about “pretty privilege”… the real flex? Rocking your natural beauty with confidence and still turning heads💅🏾

Anyway @usher fine ass got the internet talking (who’s almost 50 btw 🔥) why not post this vid…
🗣️ GUESS DMV jus hit diff 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣

My boi @king.sax_ hit me up to debut his new music at the legendary @bluesalleydc , Of course I had to slide… you know how we gets down 🔥

Two packed out shows on a Monday night, super intimate. The wild part… The first show was filled with folks from 13+ countries, got to see ya girl show TF OUT! Crazy how in their countries, Congos hit different than in the DMV 💪🏽 🔥 Nothing but smiles and pure energy all night.

This one meant a lot, playing on stage at this legendary spot was everything. 🙏🏽 Truly grateful. Stay tuned ✨
