There will always be a reason not to.

Not enough time. Not fit enough. Not strong enough. Not ready.

But you don’t need to be ready to challenge yourself.

The 8,848 isn’t about being the best climber. It’s about showing up, pushing beyond what you thought was possible and finding out just how far you’re willing to go.

24 hours. 8,848 metres. You and a teammate.

You might surprise yourself.

28–29 November.

Spring Buttress Traverse with some spicy variations.

I have been testing out the Scarpa Rapid XT and so far I am really enjoying them.

They are super comfortable especially for an approach shoe 🥾⛰️

Now to go and climb something big in them!

@milenakrohn often goes to sleep at night thinking about her cup of morning coffee the next day. Especially in the mountain. Especially with a Jetboil.

Really getting into the ‘I could go at this speed forever’ pace, it’s not fast but it is fun, and there’s a bit more time to look at the view.

Getting up and being able to do it all over again the next day is also a bonus!
