What a day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at @theelmtreesurbiton to celebrate the unveiling of The Surbiton Shuttle.

It was fantastic to see so many people come together to welcome this new addition to Surbiton’s streetscape and to share stories, memories and conversations inspired by the mural.

This project has been a true community effort from the very beginning. Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat during the painting process, shared local stories and encouraged us along the way. Those conversations helped shape the project and made it feel like a genuine community artwork long before it was finished.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the many local businesses, organisations and individuals whose support helped bring the project to life. Special thanks to Harry and the team at @theelmtreesurbiton for their enthusiasm and hospitality, and to @thegoodlifesurbiton and @friendsofsurbitonstation for their support throughout the project.

A special thank you to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Kingston for joining the celebrations and helping mark the occasion.
