Looking back on a day we’ll always remember. β€οΈπŸ‡¨πŸ‡΄ A few weeks ago, we shared a very special day during Mission Trip 2026 β€” a day filled with celebration, gratitude, laughter, and meaningful moments. ✨ We celebrated the birthdays of the children and team members born in June and July πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‰, celebrated the 3rd anniversary of Hogar de Cristo β€” a place that continues to grow and become a home for so many β€” 🏠❀️, and had the opportunity to see the progress of the church that is being built, another beautiful sign of all that is growing in this community. β›ͺ️🧱 Looking back, this day reminds us that a mission trip is about so much more than the activities themselves. It’s about the people, the relationships, the laughter, the faith, and the memories we carry with us long after we leave. πŸ€πŸΌπŸ’› It was also the moment when we began saying goodbye to the incredible volunteers who gave their time, hearts, and energy to this mission. 🫢🏼✈️ The trip may be over, but the mission continues. What we built together keeps growing. 🌱✨ Today, we’re sharing these memories so we can relive a little of what made Mission Trip 2026 so special. Thank you to every volunteer, every child, every family, and every person who was part of this journey. Until we meet again. ❀️ by @theemilianiproject
