Who are Oliver’s β€œPersonas” Swipe to read >>> #dragking #dragartist #dragqueen #dragperformer #canadiandrag The Masc The one and only , the original . Once my only persona , now an important part of what makes up Oliver. Often used either simply to portray my masculinity or to express an emotion or feeling that resonates with me. The Masc is a pivotal part of Oliver and always will be. The Femme Originally Olivia, The femme represents all the parts of my personality I spent so long wanting to repress and hide away. Through the makeup , performance and expression I reconnect with those parts of myself to give you The Femme. The Parody A Parody of everything and anything , an all around silly guy. Often quite raunchy but definitely knows how to do all ages comedy. Derived from my all around love of clowns, the circus and comedy; the Parody is always guaranteed to be a good time. The Showman The Showman is exactly that; with his hair perfectly slicked back and always donning a suit he’s hard to miss. A more polished version of The Masc this persona is often used for more superfluous numbers or in more professional settings. The Omen A colourful little Goblin, The Omen represents showing all of your colours even those you might be less inclined to. The complete opposite of my masked out of drag self, there is no missing this rainbow rockstar. The Cosplayer The newest addition, an a nod to my younger nerdy self. You will often see me turning out looks of my comfort characters <3 Not technically a persona but definitely a part of me as a performer. The Random Not technically a persona, just a lil explanation. There will be times where I might turn out a look that doesn’t fit one of the personas whether it’s for a holiday , an event theme or even just to try something out I’ve seen online. :3 by @theeoliverpersonas
Repost of my intro cause I was bored of looking at the old one , to be pinned on my profile πŸ–€πŸ–€ Also just a small reminder , and little added note , you may see me performing a horrorcore song to icp, but to me that’s how I feel when I split or have a meltdown. I might be performing a musical number or something more fun and childish, that’s me allowing those soft parts of myself coming out because I’ve spent so long trying to be hard. When I perform a queer anthem or an ashnikko track that’s me connecting with my sexuality. My performances may only seem so deep to the audience but to me they’re the songs that have helped me embrace myself and have helped me get to where I am. Theres more of course .. But yeah :3 that’s Oli :3 #dragking #dragthing #dragking #dragartist #LiveDrag#DragPerformer#QueerPerformance#DragShow #StageKing#DragKing#DragKingCulture#DragKingsOfInstagram#DragKingArt#DragKingVisibility#KingCulture#DragKingExcellence#MascDrag#AlternativeDrag#genderexpansivedrag#queer#genderqueer by @theeoliverpersonas
I’ve seen quite a few performers doing frequently asked question posts for pride so I thought I’d do one too to pin on my profile ~ any other questions feel free to ask ~ #dragking #dragthing #dragking #dragartist #LiveDrag#DragPerformer#QueerPerformance#DragShow #StageKing#DragKing#DragKingCulture#DragKingsOfInstagram#DragKingArt#DragKingVisibility#KingCulture#DragKingExcellence#MascDrag#AlternativeDrag#genderexpansivedrag#queer#genderqueer by @theeoliverpersonas
