what’s next… 🎓✨

what’s next is stepping into purpose in a way that feels bigger than me. what’s next is walking boldly into rooms that were not always built with me in mind and still knowing I belong there. what’s next is becoming.

because now… I’m an alumna.

and I’m not just continuing my education, I’m stepping into the MEPN program at Belmont University.

a prestigious, accelerated path that will shape me into the nurse I’ve been called to be. four semesters. intense. demanding. transformative. and I will be part of the first cohort. that alone means something. it means doors are opening and I am walking through them not just for me, but for every Black woman who dares to dream bigger than what she sees.

this journey has not been easy. being a Black woman in academic spaces, in healthcare spaces, in life, comes with a weight that cannot always be explained. but I have carried it with grace, with strength, and with a fire that refuses to go out. every late night, every tear, every moment of doubt built me for this.

and now I get to rise.

Belmont saw something in me. and I see something in myself too. I am walking into this program knowing I am worthy, knowing I am capable, knowing I am prepared.

four semesters of growth. four semesters of pushing past limits. four semesters of becoming everything I prayed for.

so here’s to the next chapter. here’s to legacy. here’s to purpose.

see y’all December 2027 🤍 by @theerenyb

Lord I thank you💙

Tennessee State University, I am filled with pride and joy as I reflect on my journey here and prepare to graduate on May 2, 2026. TSU has truly been a place of growth, strength, and transformation for me. I arrived carrying both hope and heartbreak, but I’ve blossomed into someone more confident, determined, and proud of how far I’ve come. Walking across that stage will be one of the greatest moments of my life, and I will forever be grateful to Tennessee State University for shaping me into who I am becoming.

One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been honoring my TT, my second mom, who I lost just months before coming to TSU. We were incredibly close, and she played such a powerful role in my life with her love, guidance, and support. Even though I miss her deeply, I carry her with me in everything I do. I know she would be smiling and proud to see me finish this chapter with strength, joy, and perseverance. Her love continues to push me forward every day, and I celebrate this accomplishment with her in my heart.

My journey here was not always easy, but it made me stronger and more grateful. I faced challenges, lost friendships, and overcame health struggles that tested me in many ways, but I never stopped pushing forward. I want to give a heartfelt thank you to my Mom, Dad, BJ, Justin, Trevor, Shika, Kyndall, Nana, Meghan, Grandma Josie, Uncle Raymond, Uncle Melvin, Uncle Eddie, my grandad Randy, Auntie Joy, David and Lexi, my babies Sky, Jaz and Kobe, Ember, Lalah, Maliyah, Mikayla, and Mars, my goddad, my godmom Erika, my second family, Noah, Mr. Cornelius, Jeremiah, Tristan, Myles, Mrs. Monique, Dylan, and Mr. Witcher, and my church family for every bit of love and support. If I forgot anyone, please know you are deeply appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Chisholm and all the teachers and staff who believed in me and poured into my success. And to TSU thank you for everything. I leave here with joy, gratitude, and so much pride in how far I’ve come.💙❤️ #foreveratiger #classof26 and ofc I had to use @realcoleworld for the butterflies🤍🫡 by @theerenyb

Saturday is the day 👩🏽‍🎓, and I’m walking into it as a Black woman who earned every single step it took to get here. This moment is bigger than a graduation, it is proof of my strength, my resilience, and my refusal to quit when life tried me. I’ve been through more than just classes and exams. I’ve faced real battles physically, mentally, and emotionally, and still showed up. Even on the days when my body was tired and my spirit felt heavy, I pushed through. That kind of strength can’t be taught, it’s built.

Every late night, every setback, every tear, and every moment I doubted myself led me right here. And not only did I make it, I did it with grace, with faith, and with a confidence that nobody can take from me. I stand here proud of the woman I’ve become, knowing that everything I went through was shaping me for something greater.

To my friends, thank you for being my joy, my support system, and my safe place. You all made this journey unforgettable. To my people, my family, and everyone who poured love into me, prayed for me, checked on me, and never let me give up, thank you. I carry your love with me in everything I do. AND TO DR. TUCKER, THANK YOU💙

This is not just an ending, it’s a powerful beginning. I’m stepping into my next chapter as a Black woman who knows her worth, her power, and her purpose. Belmont see you soon! It’s been real TSU, I’ll never forget you.💙❤️ #foreveratiger #gobruins
