We do love a good egg! The EV Cafe went on the road to meet good friend of the Show, PD Hook Hatcheries 🐣 with the average person eating 200+ eggs a year it’s important to minimise your carbon footprint and they’re doing just that! #egg #farm #collaboration #ev by @theevcafe

The episode, titled “Building Consumer Confidence in a Changing Market” saw The EV Café, Warranty Solutions Group Ltd and Autotrader joined forces today in London at Once Media TV in Canary Wharf for a LIVE (and by the way, inevitably off script!) podcast.
The first of many to come I suspect as we were uncovering many truths, some uncomfortable as you’d expect in our market.
Thank you Nick King, bringing behavioural and economic science to the matter, Phil Miskelly-Wise for herding two alley cats and being the bearer of consumer confidence. I am one of FIVE at The EV Café Directors and it’s our endless mission to grow the EV Community and accelerate us all towards the zero emission future we need to see, so thank you for having us along.

Last month at InstallerSHOW I had the pleasure of being invited to join the brilliant EV Café seminar to chat about electric vehicles for tradespeople and the growing range of alternative transport options available to us.

From electric vans to cargo bikes, we had some great conversations about how the trade is evolving and how we can all think a little differently about getting from job to job.

The best bit? I was introduced as a "celebrity!" 🤣
I'm still waiting for the paparazzi outside the builders' merchants and for someone to ask me for an autograph while I'm buying copper fittings... but until then, I'll just keep turning up with my toolbox and pretending it's completely normal! 😂💙

A huge thank you to everyone involved for the invitation, the great discussions and for shining a spotlight on the future of transport in our industry. It's exciting to be part of the conversation.

Occasionally in life, you stumble across people that have got a certain Je Ne Sais Quoi! JC is one of those people! You notice before he even reaches the stage, and hear him before he enters the room... and that’s exactly why he matters in the EV world. And to all that know him.

He’s the dynamic Scotland born powerhouse with more energy than a 350 kW charger blending deep knowledge passion and a brilliantly chaotic humour that makes every event feel alive.
Known as the host with the most and a key member of the mighty @theevcafe and gives the best hugs. He turns industry conversations into something people actually want to be part of.
He brings people together makes the transition feel human and electrifies every room he walks into and that’s exactly the spark this movement needs.
