Reminiscing back to the Mother's Day Event I facilitated with my doula Collective, @sistahoodofbirthworkers!

We couldn't have done this without our super talented, dedicated and selfless volunteers!! 🤗

From unfolding tables, to face painting, to sorting baby clothes, to handing out water to our guests, to wearing baby shark costumes and entertaining the lil guests-- our volunteers were there for it ALL! 🥰

It truly touched my heart seeing our teens involved. Shout out to our future generation!! 💪🏽♥️

May 2022 has been a busy month!!! Not just with my amazing clients but with my collective as well.

On May 7th, 2022 the @sistahoodofbirthworkers facilitated a 🌸Mother's Day🌸Fair, where we shared maternal health resources and gave away diapers, free baby clothes and accessories for families in need.

I'm so extremely honored and grateful to share these events with these ladies, I now call my doula sistahs ♥️ They show up fully and ready to support, with zero questions or judgements.

Im so glad to have found these beautiful souls that align with my purpose. These are some divine bad ass QUEENS right here!! 👑

It's been such an HONOR to facilitate this Mother's Day Fair with my doula sis and partner in crime, @sistahsofmotherhood and our collective members @sistahoodofbirthworkers!!

Shout out to the YMCA for finding us an indoor location last minute, where we were able to set up the fair, rain or shine!!

When our Sistahood girls connect, it's always a vibe.

We laugh, we share stories.
We hold space for eachother.
We hold eachother up and guide eachother through this birth work journey we started.

I adore my Sistahood ♥️
These girls are the real deal.

I have recently become the co-founder of the birth collective, @sistahoodofbirthworkers.

I share this wonderful responsibility with my doula sis, @sistahsofmotherhood. It was created for all the newer doulas to hold space for one another, while building each other up as birthworkers, women, and sistahs 💖

I couldn't be any more happier to hold this space for such divine hardworking souls who have a passion for all things birth, like I do.

This year I am thankful for HEALING ♥️ And with healing, comes GROWTH and inner PEACE.

I know this holiday isn't for everyone (because let's face it, it's based on some icky stuff) but with the word ¨THANKFUL¨ flying all around us, I cant help but think of how much of my year was spent reflecting on some deep inner ish.

I sit here and think about all the things that made me who I am today.

First and foremost, I am a Mother and Wife 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 I am a community helper. A PROUD Doula and I am so extremely thankful to have the opportunity to help birthing people and my community.

I understand that not everyone is in this place and believe me, I definitely have more work to do- but I pray that anyone following will feel my love and devotion to others. I pray that you find peace. I pray that you are able to heal. I hope to be making my ancestors proud by serving my people and I hope that I'll make you proud too.

I know I havent been on much but stay with me y'all, because I'm working on some really cool stuff for the new year and would love you all to be apart of it! I am so thankful for EVERYDAY that has led me to today. I am thankful FOR YOU ♥️ #gratefulheart by @thefearlessbirther

How are YOU today?
Hows your HEART??
.
Tell Me.
.
My heart is full and yet heavy. It been quite an emotional few weeks, especially today as we recognize #Juneteenth.
.
I recently got together with some #birthworkers of all different races, sizes, personalities and I can't even begin to tell you how much #love was felt that day. @sistahsofmotherhood @trishaabo_ @sarahlicious__ your voices were so profound.

We shared our stories. We laughed. We cried. We discussed the ideas and plans we are putting into action for our #clients. All of our differences add so much to our community.
.
My heart felt SO full.
My soul was on fire.
I love my #village.
.
Now its your turn.
Tell me what makes your heart full? What lights your soul?? I cannot wait to hear!!! ♥️

I dont know about you but Im tired of society making people scared of having babies.
When did it become okay to put fear into pregnant people? Why is this a thing now?
.
Hi, my name is Linda Eileen 👑 and I just recently became a doula for this EXACT reason. I want to help birthers everywhere build the confidence they need, to advocate for their #birthrights. I am a relaxed homeschool, plus sized mom of 2 small humans & married to my college sweetheart. Im a #truamaticbirth survivor of a #cesarean, healed by #vbac #homebirth. I gave my boys life but they gave me a reason to live ♥️
.
I LOVE leggings & BIG earrings. Im a huge #birthnerd & can talk about birth & breastfeeding ALL DAY LONG, Literally. I LOVE to listen to people talk and can hold down an entire conversationusing GIFs only🤣 #gifqueen . I reside in NYC & never EVER turn down chocolate🍫- esp a warm brownie *drools*
.
Welcome to my business page, lets hang and talk, REAL talk, about all things Birth ♥️🤰
