Allegro has kindly taken the time to show me that this fence has some rot in it. By breaking it in three places this week. 🥲 What a sweet guy. So that has to be fixed before his bestie Sydney can move back in with him.

Happy 2nd birthday to my handsome boy, Allegro. Despite all his best attempts to drive me crazy, and his love of laying in filth, and his fondness for seriously gross hay… he’s very easy to love. Andalusian temperament is so affectionate, and he loves learning new things and spitting treats at me that he doesn’t like (which is everything). It’s been quite a ride so far. I’m looking forward to the next 20+ years!

Allegro was clean for once! 🎉 But some of the outtakes are silly, and he’s having a growth spurt and is an awkward beanpole. He will be 2 at the end of May. 🥰

It’s baby time! No foals this year, but lots of piglets. Some Kunekunes and a lot of Meishans.

And one of coming 2 yo. PRE stallion Allegro (16h atm by stick) in his new fly mask that he tore the ear on one day after this picture was taken 😂

Mares to be bred: Iris and Contessa. And potentially one more, but more on that later.

🌻 Happy Spring! 🐷

Mistaken Identity: Chani was mistaken for a doodle a lot more than Ares was! But she is about 93lbs full grown, and Ares is still growing into his mature weight at 160+lbs right now. He quickly got so large, people just asked to take pictures with him and straight up said “What IS he??” 😂

Playtime! Finally warming up and just about time to move them to another pasture. Allegro will be a year soon and is shooting up so tall! Sydney is his best friend and they are pretty silly together 🤪 Allegro also needs a bath (so does Syd) Flip thru to see it all!

No excuses, just a busy, weird weather winter here on the farm! Here’s Allegro the PRE Unicorn, lazing in his pasture, Sydney the Big Handsome, peeking at me in the barn, and baby Kunekune pigs! (13 total) Hatching Bielefelder chicks next, then breeding the mares for next spring! Really miss IG time but riding time trumps it 😂💚

Padre joined us a little while ago and has settled in well with the Andalusian herd. (Iris only hates him if I am there to pet everyone) He is a lovable gentleman and can’t get enough of nose kisses.

Everybody needs a friend to get that spot you can’t quite reach on your own. 😋

Allegro @ 2 months, Amaya @ 5 months.

Our new @cavologybrand leashes and stylish poop bag holder from @herkythecavalier is here and they are gorgeous. Great colors and very sturdy (these are for my Komondor dogs so sturdy is important), and the bag joins a green one I already had. Fantastic quality, waterproof, strong rivets. Love them! 😍💙💚

There’s no such thing as being too close to the camera. 👀 😁

Ares grows every time I look away for a moment. He is nearly as big as year old Chani now, and he’s a week shy of five months old.

His temperament is cooler and more aloof with outside people. Chani is approachable; Ares likes to observe from a distance. He is protective and watchful.

But he still trips over these giant paws a lot. (Last pic his feet next to mine) 😂 Madly in love with him and this incredible breed.
