These handy and versatile pouches were made by my lovely friend, @thegingerdryad

💛The Yellow overdress I finished just in time for the faire! It is a pattern I drafted (hence the wonky sleeves... I'll fix them with the next one!)

❤️The red underdress was a maxi skirt and crop top, both thrifted, that I sewed together at the waist!

And the mushroom hat! Which has become my favorite of headdress! That I also made. The Video in which THAT haphazard diy unfolds should be coming next week to our youtube channel 👀

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”

This Dryad is so ready for fall and to get out of this heat 🥵
I have some really exciting things coming up soon that I will be posting about in the coming weeks, and this is a sneak peek of one of them! A new version of a Dryad outfit that I'm putting together for an event next month 🍁🍂💚
Can't wait to see you all this Fall and show you all the new things I've been working on! by @thegingerdryad

Restocking some favorites and a few new or returning things for @jomoconc this weekend! Some of these are adding to my current stock (like mushroom poppers and dice goblins), but some of these are pretty limited stock for this show (like acorn pouches, only 1 available!) so make sure to come see me July 18th or 19th if you see something you love!

2 more days to get ready for con! Going to be making some dragon rings and pouches if I can get them done by Saturday 😳 So much to do!

Patterns:
Acorn pouch: @red_panda_crochets
Dragon plush: @handmadebyjodie
Dice goblin: @raven.jadeco
All poppers: @cableandcanvas by @thegingerdryad

Pov: playing D&D with Tinkerbell 🧚🏻‍♀️ (aka, me who takes literally any chance to dress up)

When I get told "make a D&D character based on any fictional character," I absolutely must go with my lifelong special interest and make a tinker fairy artificer! And it gave me a wonderful chance to get into some of my trinkets that I've received at Ren Faires to decorate my outfit with as many tiny sparkly things as possible! And I definitely wore this (minus the wings, sadly) the entire session. You never know when you make need a potion, trinket, or sharp object! 😁 by @thegingerdryad

The brilliant @cableandcanvas has a new pattern out today! 🎉🐻🍯
I loved pattern testing for this little guy, and the whole time I had this song from when I was a kid stuck in my head 😆 It came on a kids radio station that I used to listen to with my grandma years ago and we thought it was hilarious how the bears sang more and more muffled as they kept making and eating peanut butter. So I, of course, had to not only make a Harlow bear in a honey pot, but also a peanut butter jar! And once I get some good yellow yarn I will have to make some that are Pooh Bears, which is also a mod included in the pattern.
Thanks for having me to test, Kate!! by @thegingerdryad

"Ye Olde Neurospicy Corner" is running low but still stocked for my last day! Many items are running low, so come see me before they're gone! @whitehartrenfaire
It's supposed to be a lovely afternoon and fathers get in free this Father's Day so it's a perfect day to visit the Dryad's meadow 💚🍄 by @thegingerdryad

Crocheting during slow moments at shows is my favorite way to keep my hands busy, for a lot of reasons...
🍄 Like I said, it keeps my hands busy! Fidgety neurodivergent energy needs to go somewhere during the many hours in these shows and crochet is always my go to.
🍄 It's a great way to connect with you! Please come and tell me about your own crochet, your other crafty hobbies, or ask any questions you could want!
🍄 It gives people a chance to see the care that goes into every piece on my tables. In the current world filled with AI and dropshippers 🥴, it is important to me that my booth is made of actual handmade art that takes the time, skill, and creativity that only a real person (or dryad!) can put into it.
🍄 If I'm having a slow show or moment, then I am at least prepping for my next show! I always laugh when I finish something off and it sells before the day is even over 😆

If you're a vendor, I'd love to hear what you do during slow moments at shows to keep busy! And if you're a shopper, do you like seeing people demonstrating their craft at their booth?? by @thegingerdryad

Me checking to see if you been to White Hart Renaissance Faire yet: 👀

My last June show is coming up fast! Come find me at @whitehartrenfaire this weekend, June 20th and 21st. Currently I'm planning to do 1 show in July and maybe take August off from markets, so the chances to visit the mushroom meadow this summer are running out! I hope to see so many lovely faces this weekend and much nicer weather!

The most magical event of the year: Narnia Faire!! 🦁🌻

I made it to this event again last month, and it is my favorite show that I go to all year. So much magic, so many lovely people, so much fun, so much love and support from every single person involved in this event and every person that visits the realm!

I always try to make some special pieces for Narnia Faire and this year I made this gorgeous Aslan to preside over the mushroom meadow! I'm honestly kind of glad he didn't sell that weekend, because I was very happy to take him back home with me for now. He's just too cute! Now I can't decide if he needs to stay with me or find a new home 🤔

The before and after and setting up a booth is one of my favorite things to see! Even better when I get to share it with the fantastic @spooldoots 💚

One of the best things about doing these shows and making this business has been how close it has brought me to so many people, but especially my good friend Samie. I don't know many friendships that would last through 3 days of long car trips, packing, unpacking, setting up, full days of selling, dozens of tiny problems, tearing down, re-packing, more road trip, dealing with mood swings and exhaustion and weather and all the highs and lows that go into doing these shows... much less a friendship that would choose to show up for it again and again, so I'm so forever grateful that I have a friend who has done so many of these shows with me, celebrated my wins, encouraged me at my lows, and agrees to sit in separate rooms and not speak to each other when we're both exhausted (the most important quality!). And I'm very glad that I get to do the same thing for and with her! If you ever see her at my booth or one of her events, you should tell her that she's freaking awesome!!
