The Glitter Girls’ final poster!

Our documentary has finally come to life and is exhibiting over this weekend (17-20th of June) for the very first time. We’d like to say a massive thank you to our funders, contributors and supporters who’ve helped us along the way. Community is at the very heart of this film and we wouldn’t be here without you!

Stay tuned as we put together what we’ve been up to over the past 8 months of development. We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve made 💗 by @theglittergirlsdoc

📣 Did you know up to 80% of women with autism are not diagnosed before the age of 18? Because diagnostic frameworks have historically centred men, many women grow up masking, over-functioning, and internalising blame.

The Glitter Girls challenges this silence — not by framing neurodivergent women as broken, but by showing them as resilient, creative, funny, and powerful, even when systems failed them.

We have just launched our Kickstarter campaign! Help this community reach our crowdfunding goal by February 21st, 2026 and join the TGG community. Learn more by going to the TGG Kickstarter!
