Who would have thought…

that a little girl who loved libraries and bookstores would one day become an author at one of the nation’s largest book festivals, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.📚

From helping others share their experience… to finally sharing my own story.

Grateful to have been part of the festival.💚

This wasn’t just about selling books.
It was about connection.

To every person who stopped, listened, supported, or simply shared a moment with me—thank you.

Looking forward to what’s ahead and the conversations still to come. 🤗

Awaken: I Suffered. I Learned. I Changed. is a raw memoir about healing, identity, and what happens after everything falls apart.

For those figuring out how to rebuild and find themselves again.

If you’ve been meaning to tap in, this is your sign.

Honored and truly grateful to be featured by @boldjourneymag 💚

I’ve always been intentional about how I move, what I create, and where I place my energy—especially in my work.

That intention shows up in how I build and what I stand on.

If you’re building something of your own, I think you’ll appreciate this one. 🤗

What a pleasant surprise 🥹

Grateful for these students — their words, their perspective, and the awareness they already carry.

Counting it all joy. 💚

Hello, gorgeous! 💕

It’s been a minute! 👀

Life has been lifing lately! But more importantly, it’s been filled with meaningful milestones and plenty to be thankful for. 🥹

And just like that, November is here—my birthday month! 🍂🤗🎉 It’s also the two-year anniversary of the Kickstarter campaign that helped bring AWAKEN to life.

Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you’re just discovering my story, I’m so glad you’re here!

The Awakening continues… 💫

Welcoming my Bebe to adulthood: College Edition 🥹💕 by @thegrassdoornco_

One year ago today, AWAKEN: I Suffered. I Learned. I Changed. was released into the world. 🤍

From the very beginning, my intention was never simply to publish a book.

It was to extend an invitation.

Over this past year, your messages, reviews, and conversations have deeply humbled me. Knowing that so many of you found pieces of your own story within mine has made every vulnerable page worth sharing.

Thank you for reading.
Thank you for trusting me with your stories.
Thank you for allowing mine to become part of yours.

The invitation still stands…

To awaken.
To pause.
And breathe.
To reflect.
And rise.
To be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

And if AWAKEN hasn’t found its way into your hands just yet, I hope you’ll accept that invitation. 🤲🏽

My bebe doll graduated high school this week. 🥹🎓

I’m so incredibly proud of the young woman you are. Bright, beautiful, independent, strong-willed, kind, creative, and completely your own person. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. 🥹

Oh, the places you will go, bebe!

To every ninang, ninong, auntie, uncle, mentor, and loved one who showed up for her [us] throughout the years in big or small ways — thank you. Your support, encouragement, and presence have meant more than you know. And to everyone who celebrated with us, traveled near or far, or showed love from a distance — thank you for helping make this moment even more meaningful.💚

A special thank you to @theknowtoriousgio for being such an incredible uncle and constant throughout the years. From school drop-offs to open house nights, food runs, rides to work, late-night pickups, and so many moments in between — thank you for loving your niece so well.

Congratulations, kid. You did it. ✨

Woohoo! 🤗 My Bebe is officially a licensed driver! 🚗🥹

And just like that…

Only God could align timing like this. 🙌🏽

A season of answered prayers, growth, and milestones I don’t take for granted.

Grateful for it all. 💚

Honoring the Life We Chose.💌

This one felt different.

I didn’t write it with a goal in mind.
I didn’t write it for strategy, content, or anything business-related.

I wrote it because the prompt came at the right time—and I wanted to create from a different place.

Not from logic.
Not from survival mode.
But from surrender.

Just reflection. Just truth.

A letter to myself…
honoring the life that didn’t always go as planned, but became something I’m proud of.

To now have this piece selected to move on to the next round with The Unsealed…
truly an honor I didn’t see coming.🥹

Grateful for the opportunity.
Grateful that something written from an authentic place is resonating.

Voting is now open 4/22! 🌎🤗

If it speaks to you, I’d absolutely appreciate your support.♡

If you know, you know.

Nearly eight years later… from the moment my life was turned upside down.

The same God who had me wait is the same God who made this happen in His perfect timing.

I lost my independence.
And life changed for both my daughter and me in ways I never could have expected.

I had no choice but to face it—and I did.

I sought out every resource I could.
I leaned on community, on support, on advocacy—and found a way forward.

Even when I didn’t understand the season, God never left me in it.

Yesterday, I got my license back. 🙌🏽

And it represents so much more than the ability to drive. It represents resilience, provision, and grace.

All glory to God. 💚

Some chapters you live… before you ever write them.

Still taking it all in… my Bebe turned 18. 🥹💖

I’m so proud of the young woman you’re becoming.

One of the greatest honors of my life has been walking alongside you—to love you, lead you, cover you, and watch you grow into who you are.

It’s beautiful to witness you coming home to yourself… remembering who you’ve always been.

Stay inspired. Stay curious.✨

I know God has a plan for your life—one filled with purpose, hope, and a future that’s already yours.

Grateful.
Humbled.
Moved. 🥹🤍

This is why I wrote AWAKEN.
Not just to tell my story — but to create space for reflection, healing, and breakthroughs.

If you’ve ever felt called to pause, reflect, and rise again — this is the awakening.✨

📖 AWAKEN is available now.
