Well, I suppose it’s official now…

The Christmas section is back on The Grey Door. 🎄

I know it’s only the last day of September, but I also know some of you like to start early and pick things up gradually rather than leave everything until December.

So I’ve brought the Christmas section back onto the website, with gifts, decorations and some lovely bits for the festive season all together in one place.

No pressure to start Christmas shopping just yet. 😂

But if you are one of the organised ones, you can now have a proper look.

Christmas at The Grey Door is officially open. 🤍 by @thegreydoor_uk

A little Grey Door delivery reminder that you might not know about… 📦

However many items you add to your order, your postage charge doesn’t keep going up.

So if you’re ordering one gift and spot another little something while you’re there, you won’t suddenly be hit with extra delivery costs at checkout.

If the parcel costs me more to send because it’s larger or heavier, I cover the difference.

It’s just one of the ways I try to keep ordering from The Grey Door simple. 🤍

So if you’ve got a couple of birthdays coming up, need a few gifts at once, or fancy adding something for yourself too… you can pop them all into the same order without worrying about the postage creeping up. by @thegreydoor_uk

🌿 Award Winning Calming – The Gentle Listener

She creates a sense of peace just by being there.

You don’t have to explain anything… she just knows.

The kind of presence that hands you a blanket and warm tea before you even ask.

Grounded and still, she brings balance into a moment with a quiet breath and gentle strength. She doesn’t fill the silence she honours it.

This is the essence of my Calming Blend, formulated to bring a soft stillness to your space and your day. With its gentle aroma and grounded energy, it helps you pause, breathe, and feel more centred, wherever you are.

Now officially award-winning, the Calming Blend won the Fragrance & Wellness Award at the 2025 @nourishawards & Skincare Awards, achieving the maximum 3-star rating, the highest possible.

It’s a quiet reminder that calm is something you can invite in at any time.

✨ Award-winning calm, created with care.

A little woodland charm for Christmas. 🎄

I love the natural look of this wreath, with its pinecones, berries and lovely mixture of woodland details.

At 30cm, it's a nice size for hanging indoors, adding to a festive display or using as part of a Christmas table arrangement.
And at £5.95, it's a lovely way to bring a little Christmas into your home without spending a fortune.

The camera never misses a thing! 😂

One thing I've discovered from photographing products for The Grey Door is that something can look absolutely fine in front of you.
Then you take a photograph.

Suddenly there's a tiny mark, a wonky label, a bit of fluff or something in the background that you hadn't even noticed!
And once you've spotted it, you can't unsee it.

I sometimes think taking the photograph is the easy part. It's everything you notice afterwards that takes the time! 😂

Have a lovely Monday everyone. ❤️ by @thegreydoor_uk

Hello November! 🎄
Now I think we can start talking a little more freely about Christmas decorations!
I particularly like pieces that make an impact without needing lots of other things around them.
This beautiful Mistletoe Garland has an antique brass finish and measures 183cm long.
Imagine it draped across a mantelpiece, around a mirror or along a shelf. The warm metallic finish makes it a lovely alternative to traditional green garlands.
And because of its simple design, it could be enjoyed well beyond Christmas too.

Remember I mentioned I was off somewhere a little while ago? 🍃

Well, I can finally tell you where I went!
I've been over to Macclesfield, and I'm delighted to share that Mai Joie Botanicals is joining Cheshire Creations, inside @ohsoprettytableware Oh So Pretty & Green!

My products are now there, all ready for the shop opening on Tuesday 3rd November.
It's lovely to know that more people will have the opportunity to discover Mai Joie and experience those beautiful natural aromas for themselves.

After all, there's only so much I can describe in words. Sometimes you really do need to experience an aroma to appreciate just how lovely it is!

You'll find a selection of my aromatherapy products, all created with the care, knowledge and thought that goes into Mai Joie Botanicals.

I'm looking forward to seeing how everything comes together when the doors open on Tuesday.
If you're in or around Macclesfield, do pop in and have a look. And while you're there, you'll be able to discover the other lovely independent businesses too.

With gratitude and aromatic wishes,
Judith 🍃

I think we've all put our rings somewhere safe and then forgotten where that safe place was! 😂

This little white ceramic elephant might be the answer.

Simply pop your rings over his trunk when you're taking them off, and they'll have their own little place to live.

At just 9cm tall, he's small enough for a bedside table or dressing table, and rather adorable too.

Who says Christmas decorations have to stay on the tree? 🎄

I rather like the idea of using these little grey wooden houses in different places around the home.
Hang a few on the tree, add them to a garland or tie one onto a wrapped Christmas present for an extra little finishing touch.
There are 12 wooden houses in the pack, so you have plenty to play with.

Simple grey wooden decorations that work beautifully with natural colours, greenery and traditional Christmas decorations.

Ever packed jewellery for a weekend away and then spent ages trying to find that one missing earring? 😄

This Starry Night Velvet Jewellery Case is a rather lovely answer.

With its navy velvet finish, gold moon and star design, and little compartments inside, it keeps your favourite pieces together whether you're travelling or simply keeping your dressing table organised.
It has a zip fastening too, so everything stays safely inside.

You know when you pop out for just a couple of things and somehow come home with rather more? 😄

I think this handmade basket from East of India would be rather useful for those occasions!

Beautifully woven from natural materials, with a generous shape and two handles, it's lovely for market trips, shopping or simply taking out for the day.

And unlike another plastic shopping bag, this is one you'll actually want to take with you.
Handmade Basket with Handles £29.95

Well, I think Maisy deserves a proper introduction! 🐭

Meet Maisy, with her rather adorable face, cosy scarf and seasonal outfit.

Standing at 55cm tall, she's certainly not shy about making herself noticed!

I do have a soft spot for decorations with a bit of character, and Maisy has plenty of that. 😄
