POSTS STORIES REELS

I’m not crying, you’re crying 🥹

For real, I was balling rewatching and putting this reel together last night 😭🫶🏼

The Poms and their Dad have such a beautiful and loving bond that will never be broken🐶❤️💁🏻‍♂️.

When I told them their Dad was home, Riley was immediately vocal and ran to the door 🥹🐶

Although we’re no longer together, Patrick will always be the Poms Dad and a part of our lives. I’m so grateful for how amazing of a Dog Dad he is and the Poms are lucky to have him as such an active presence in their life. 🐶🫶🏼✨

This moment, this reunion, is a testament to the unwavering loyalty, the strength of their bond, and the depth of their love. It’s more than just a visit; it’s a beautiful reminder that love, especially the love shared between a dog and their parent, is never truly lost, no matter the time or distance between them🐶🤍

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone 🐶🥰💖

Happy Halloween 🎃🤍✨🐾 by @thehappypoms

13 years ago, the littlest ham was born, and five years later, I was given the incredible honour of becoming her Mom🐶🤍✨🎉🎂

It’s hard to believe how quickly these last eight years have flown by. And yet, every single day, I still find myself looking at Klara in complete awe, wondering how I could be so blessed that she’s mine and I’m hers🥹✨🤍

My precious Klara, my self-worth queen who runs our household, you’ve captured my heart in ways I truly can’t put into words. You make the ordinary days extraordinary and remind me every day that some of life’s most beautiful moments are simply spent being fully present with the ones we love. You’ve taught me that unconditional love doesn’t need words, and sometimes, just being together is more than enough🤍

From keeping the other Poms in line and making sure they respect your personal bubble (because heaven forbid they breathe the same oxygen as you 😅), to insisting on having your faux fur blankie to sleep on, requesting belly rubs, and letting me know when it’s bedtime, it’s all these little things that make life with you so incredibly special. I couldn’t be more grateful that I get to be your Mom🥹🫶🏼.

Happy 13th Birthday, my sweet girl! Here’s to celebrating you today and to many, many, MANY more beautiful, healthy, happy years together!🐶💖🎂✨ by @thehappypoms

POV: Dad’s the fun parent and Mom keeps talking about something called “portion control.” 🙄😂

As you all know, we were already obsessed with our @openfarmpet Single Ingredient Cubes, and then Dad had these Be Good Bites Wild-Caught Salmon treats delivered as a surprise. 🐟📦🤍

One bite was all it took. 🤤 🤩

We followed Mom around asking for more, stared directly into her soul, pulled out the synchronized spins… and when none of that worked, Klara decided she’d just open the bag herself. 😅

Friends- don’t sleep on these. Tell your pawrents to order you some asap, throw portion control out the window, and indulge! Us pups deserve it! And if it’s your pawrents first time ordering from @openfarmpet code HAPPYPOMS saves $25 off orders of $100+ .🤍🐾

Now for the pawrents, we NEED to know… are you the “portion control” dog parent or the “but LOOK at that face 🥺” dog parent? 😂👇 by @thehappypoms

Super Klara is turning 13 this October, and she’s proving that age really is just a number🦸‍♀️🐾✨

Vibrant. Energetic. Happy. And still living her absolute best life. 💪🩷 ✨💯

At just 5 years old, Klara retired as a Champion Show Dog🐶🏆 💅🏻✨ But apparently she wasn’t finished building her résumé. 😂

She simply traded the show ring for her next career: neighbourhood patrol. 🫡🐶

Eight years later, Super Klara is still on duty and creating a whole new standard for what life at 13 can look like. 🦸‍♀️✨

Every superhero needs a premium source of power, and Super Klara’s comes from @openfarmpet . 💚

Because living your best life starts from the inside out, and what goes into her bowl matters 💯 .

From high-quality, traceable ingredients to thoughtfully crafted recipes, @openfarmpet has been keeping Super Klara fuelled for every mission, one nourishing bowl at a time. 🐾💅

And while she may have retired from the show ring eight years ago, retiring from neighbourhood patrol? Not a chance. 😂🦸‍♀️

Does anyone need Super Klara to come patrol their streets next? Drop your city below and she’ll consider adding you to her superhero route. 👇🐶🌎

She said she’ll even sneak her newest obsession out of Mom’s treat cupboard for the trip: @openfarmpet Be Good Bites Wild-Caught Salmon Recipe. 🤫😂 Because obviously every superhero needs snacks to keep those superpowers fully charged. 🐟⚡️

Here’s to all our fellow super dogs out there—living vibrantly, loving big, and showing us that every chapter can be extraordinary. 🦸‍♀️🩷✨

You just feel it🥹🤍✨

When she looks at me like this my heart could literally explode🥹

There’s something about locking eyes with your dog and just knowing. You can see the love in their eyes. You can feel how safe they feel with you, how much they trust you, how deeply connected you are to each other and in that moment, your heart has never felt more full.

It’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever experienced. This little soul can’t say a single word to me, and somehow I know exactly how much she loves me. And I know she truly feels every bit of how much I love her too🥹🤍

Dog parents, I want to know yours: what’s that little moment with your dog when you can just feel how much they love you? Is it the way they look at you, curl up against you, follow you around, greet you when you come home… or something completely unique to the two of you? 🥹 by @thehappypoms

The first week back didn’t just take out the teachers… it took out the emotional support staff too. 😂🐶😴 🐾

Going from summer vacation mode to emotionally supporting a Grade 7 teacher through the first week back is NO joke. Our entire house has officially waved the white flag this Friday night. 🏳️💤

Teachers, please tell me my Mom isn’t the only one running on fumes?!😅

Send this to a teacher whose emotional support staff deserve overtime pay in treats.🐶🤓🍗 by @thehappypoms

Exceptional care looks different for every Pom🐶✨💯

What Klara needs at almost 13 is different from what Kash needs for his joints, what Riley needs after his injury, and what Koko needs when car rides make her nervous, anxious and stressed. Their care is personal to them🤍.

I pay attention to what’s changing, where I can be proactive, and make thoughtful additions to their routines based on what I feel each of them needs.

That’s one reason I was so excited to implement @nhvnaturalpet . 🌿 Their 100% natural liquid herbal supplements have allowed me to add another layer of individualized support to the routines I’ve already created for them.

For Klara, who lives with congestive heart failure and a collapsed trachea, I added Resp-Aid for additional respiratory support through her senior years. For Kash, Turmeric is one addition to the joint wellness routine I’ve built alongside the therapeutic work I’ve done for his Grade 2 luxating patella.

Riley’s needs have changed since his injury, too. His fall caused significant fluid buildup in his lungs and affected his breathing, so Resp-Aid is something I would have considered for additional respiratory support alongside his veterinary care. Today, I use Lesstress during moments that can make him feel unsure after that injury to help keep him calm and rebuild confidence.

And for Koko, I use Lesstress when we have a long drive ahead because being in the car can make her nervous, anxious and stressed.

One thing I LOVE is how easy NHV has been to implement🙌🏼. I simply add the liquid drops right to their food and they eat it with no problem. 😋🌿

And NHV has such a wide range of natural supplements to explore depending on your dog’s individual wellness needs- from respiratory and collapsed trachea support to joints and mobility, stress and anxiety, and so much more.

I created an NHV Highlight where you can learn more about what we’re using, why I chose each product, and find direct links to them. 🐶🤍

Because their needs may be individual, but the goal is always the same: giving them the healthiest, happiest, most beautiful life possible🐶✨🤍 by @thehappypoms

Almost 13, living with congestive heart failure and still finding so much joy in every little adventure🥹🤍✨🐾

This summer, I’ve noticed the most beautiful shift in Klara’s energy and overall well-being, and my heart couldn’t be more grateful🥰💯.

Here’s the 3 simple things that have added more enjoyment and support to her days:

🐾1) Walks that are completely hers.

These walks aren’t about distance, speed or exercise. I take Klara somewhere she can safely explore, changing up the areas, and I let her choose where she wants to go at her own pace. She gets to sniff, wander and take in new surroundings for as long as she’s enjoying herself.

That freedom and mental stimulation has been so beautiful for her. Some days she strolls on the sidewalk, some days she goes “off roading” and other days my almost-13-year-old girl surprises me with her little jog🤭

🐟2) A little sardine each day.

Klara is absolutely obsessed with sardines! I give her a small amount appropriate for her tiny size, and it has become one of her favourite parts of the day. Because she has CHF, I’m especially mindful of sodium and choose sardines packed in water with no salt added.

🌿3) Additional respiratory support.

I recently introduced @nhvnaturalpet Resp-Aid into Klara’s routine to provide additional plant-based support for her respiratory wellness. It’s now one part of the complete care plan surrounding her, alongside her prescribed CHF medication and regular veterinary care.

Nothing replaces the medical treatment that keeps Klara stable, but I’m grateful to have thoughtful ways to support her comfort and overall well-being as she gets older.

Seeing her wanting to explore, strutting down the sidewalk and pawing at me for belly rubs means more to me than I could ever explain.

My heart is so full watching her continue to enjoy and live her best little life in her senior years. If you ask me, her senior years look absolutely beautiful on her. What do you think? 🐶 💅🏻

PS: I’m going to read your responses to her🥰 by @thehappypoms
