🌺 A gorgeous Monday evening girly dinner at the Giggling Squid for the besties birthday. One of my go-to places for a catch up with friends. Always fab service and amazing food. And such a novelty to pictures of pretty food that doesn’t involve a plate of nuggets and chips 😂 A trip to the loos reminded of when it was a bar and walking down the stairs a ‘little’ tipsy. Does anyone remember Via Vita? I loved it in there! What did it become after that? Was it Las Iguanas or was there something in between? ——————————————————- Hi 👋 I’m Claire 🌿 A born & bred Harrogate mum and your unofficial guide to the best spots across Harrogate & North Yorkshire 💚 Always on the lookout for new places to eat, hidden gems, treats for us Mums and family days out that older kids won’t roll their eyes at! I’d be genuinely interested to know your thoughts on: 🎅🏽 Is £70 for a Santa experience too much? 💰 Are we ok with paying £30-40 for adults? 💭 Who else just forgets words mid sentence? 🦋 Am I the only one who remembers Sunwin House? I feel much better after my rant and I think I’ll start a petition to get parents presents from Santa too 😂 After all that if you want to read the blog the link’s in my bio as always 💚 ————————————————- Hi 👋 I’m Claire 🌿 A born & bred Harrogate mum and your unofficial guide to the best spots across Harrogate & North Yorkshire 💚 Always on the lookout for new places to eat, hidden gems, treats for us Mums and family days out that older kids won’t roll their eyes at! 🚨THIS IS A TEST - I need your opinions…. Would you find posts like this helpful? If I did breakdowns of what days out ACTUALLY cost us. Obviously every family is different but I always like to know not just entry fees, but what the costs are like when you actually get there. •Should I take loads of food or is it quite reasonably priced? •Will I need to remortgage to get ice creams? •Are there lots of additional activities to pay for? Please let me know what you think. Good and bad! (I can take it!) Also no judgement on my fast pass purchases 🤣 I got carried away 🙈 —————————————————- Hi 👋 I’m Claire 🌿 A born & bred Harrogate mum and your unofficial guide to the best spots across Harrogate & North Yorkshire 💚 Always on the lookout for new places to eat, hidden gems, treats for us Mums and family days out that older kids won’t roll their eyes at! Ad 🎳 Bowling is a classic family activity and always feels quite nostalgic to me .. I used to be pretty good once upon a time! Tenpin York invited to look around as they’ve had a makeover. It’s the bowling alley you all know and love but with a fresh new look and some exciting new extras like a huge soft play, darts and karaoke rooms. After a pretty dismal display of bowling we asked if we could have a quick ten minutes in the karaoke room just to see what it’s like. Half an hour later we were belting out songs from six, legally blonde and wicked 🤣 we didn’t want it to end! Best random Wednesday evening ever! Thank you @tenpin_uk we had a blast 💚 —————————————————- Hi 👋 I’m Claire 🌿 A born & bred Harrogate mum and your unofficial guide to the best spots across Harrogate & North Yorkshire 💚 Always on the lookout for new places to eat, hidden gems, treats for us Mums and family days out that older kids won’t roll their eyes at! Thank you @harrogatemumbler you’ve made her day! Izzy’s been so happy since we were nominated in their Digital Star category but was gutted the awards are 18+. But thanks to a quick dm from the Mumbler girls with more info, if you are younger but have a genuine reason to go, you’re allowed to attend 🙌 so that’s my plus 1 secured. Oh and I now have to double my budget for tickets and outfits 🙈 We are nominated alongside some incredible accounts so we probably won’t win, but we will certainly enjoy the party and experience of our first Mumbler Awards! And if you fancy voting for us we would absolutely love your support! I’ve added a link in our bio to make it easy 😉 (You need a HG postcode to be eligible to vote) #harrogate #harrogatelife #harrogatemums #harrogatemumbler #harrogatefamilies by @theharrogatefam
