DOWNTOWN PHOENIX, YOU’RE INVITED! 🌼🧡 In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and Día de los Muertos, we’re opening our doors to the community for something really special. As a proudly Hispanic-owned business, we’re excited to introduce our very first Heard Building Community Ofrenda, a space dedicated to honoring, remembering, and celebrating the lives of loved ones (including our beloved pets!) who are no longer with us. A SPECIAL thank you to our Community Coordinator, Jo, for building this beautiful alter for us to share. We invite EVERYONE to stop by, explore the ofrenda, and contribute a photo, handwritten note, or small offering in memory of someone special. Don’t have a printed photo? We’ll happily print and frame one for you right here at the building! And while you’re here, grab a FREE coffee on us, take a look around our beautiful historic building, and get to know a little piece of Downtown Phoenix history. 📍 Heard Building | 112 N Central Ave 🌼 1st Floor, 102 📅 October 15 – November 2 ⏰ Monday–Friday | 9 AM–5 PM ✨ FREE & open to the public! No RSVP needed. Whether you’re stopping by to honor someone you love, learn more about this beautiful tradition, or simply connect with your Downtown Phoenix neighbors, we’d love to have you! Our doors are open, and our community is your community 🧡 Help us spread the word by sharing this post with your friends, family, and neighbors! #HeardBuilding #DowntownPhoenix #DiaDeLosMuertos #CommunityOfrenda PhoenixAZ BeHereBeHeard by @theheardbuilding

Fun facts: The Heard Building’s tower is frequently confused with the larger, 240-foot steel television tower atop the nearby Westward Ho hotel. While the Heard Building’s antenna is long gone, the Westward Ho tower still stands. The antenna on the Heard Building went up in 1930, was rebuilt after a 1954 windstorm, and was still standing when Hitchcock filmed Psycho in 1960. Shortly after the movie was shot, the massive radio tower was dismantled and taken down. The Heard Building was only one piece of Dwight B. Heard’s footprint on Phoenix. He helped develop Palmcroft and Los Olivos (now Willo), helped build the San Carlos Hotel, and, with his wife Maie, founded the Heard Museum. He was involved in land, agriculture, publishing, and getting the Roosevelt Dam built. The guy was basically betting on Phoenix from every direction. by @theheardbuilding
Phoenix, is that you? 🍂 It’s officially fall, which means Jo’s already switching out the fans for heaters, sandals for clogs, and tanks for hoodies. We’re not complaining one bit. 😂 Cooler days, cozier fits, and new opportunities to grow your business. Sounds like a pretty good season to us. Come find your place at Heard Building. 🐝 #heardbuilding #dtphx #explorepage #coworkingspace #fallvibes🍁 by @theheardbuilding

🐾🤎 Tomorrow, October 27, is all about our furry friends! In honor of Día de los Muertos, we’re making space on our ofrenda to remember the pets who will forever hold a special place in our hearts. 🕊️🐶🐱 Bring a picture of your beloved pet and stop by Heard Building to help us celebrate the love, memories, and paw prints they left behind. If you don’t have a picture printed, we can print it for you here at Heard Building! We’re really hoping to create something meaningful for the community, something everyone can enjoy and take part in. We also invite you to bring photos or offerings for any loved ones who have passed and add them to our ofrenda before the end of the week. Come down to Heard Building this week, leave a meaningful offering, and help us fill the ofrenda with the memories of those we hold dear. 🤎 Because our fur babies deserve a place on the ofrenda, too. 📍 Heard Building 🗓️ October 27–November 2 Bring a photo or offering and come visit! #diadelosmuertos #dtphx #petlossgrief #rememberme #az by @theheardbuilding

One thing about a Latina … she ALWAYS knows a panadería 💅🏽🥐 Our monthly Coffee Club is our little way of showing some love to our Heard Building tenants! Coffee from the Heard, whether you’re enjoying our cold brew, hot coffee, teas, or hot chocolate, plus a new treat each month and a reason to step out of the office and enjoy a little something together. ☕️🤎 This month, Jo picked La Purísima, a local bakery in Glendale, to help us celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! 🇲🇽✨ Every month, we’ll be bringing in a new treat for our tenants to enjoy, so tell us… where should our next treat come from? 👀🍪 Good coffee, good treats & good people. That’s the agenda. 🐝☕️ #dtphx #coworkingspace #lapurisima #officespace #tenantappreciation by @theheardbuilding
