Proud of my first mosaic I've made as an adult. Especially proud of my hand cut pieces, and I love the glass I choose, especially those red/orange pieces. The process was very spontaneous, I wasn't working from a pattern or a drawing, just cutting and piecing as I went along. I'm currently working on a wave it's taking a little longer. It was frustrating me, so I put it to the side for a while, problem time to get back to it. #poppies #art #mosaic by @theheartteacher313
This will be your last chance, until Fall, to come play with your Inner Child and me at The Congregation. When was the last time you made time to let go and be creative? Come play with my art supplies and I'll even clean up!! This is something we all need. Please make time, even for a short visit, you'll be glad you did!! Time for art, connection, community, letting go and rejuvenation!! Time for Art in Detroit! Drawing, scribbling, painting, clipping, collage... Maybe you'll make a greeting card or even an artist trading card... by @theheartteacher313
If you've been planning on coming and haven't made it yet, or if you've attended and don't want to miss it.. This will be the last one until the Fall. Taking a break for the summer with new ideas for the Fall. Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday!! It's an Open House from 6-9. Even if you just stop by for a short time, you'll be glad you did! by @theheartteacher313
