POSTS STORIES REELS

📣Calling Young World readers!

Almost every week, The Hindu Young World’s Scrapbook section has three pages dedicated to its readers. We invite children to send in original and unique content for these 📰

Drawings 🖍️

All drawings must be sent as JPG attachments.

All entries must be original. Drawings of religious figures or characters from books, movies, comics, cartoons, games and anime, AI-generated images or those downloaded from the Internet will not be accepted.

Text ✒️

Prose or poetry must be sent typed on a Word doc or as inline text. Photos of handwritten text will not be accepted.

Plagiarised or AI-generated text will not be accepted.

All text entries must be under 200 words.

⚠️ General guidelines

Open to students up to Class 8 only.

Email your child's submissions to youngworld@thehindu.co.in

The child’s name, class, school, and city must be mentioned in the body of the email. Entries without these details will not be accepted. A passport-size photo is optional and must be sent as a separate attachment, not pasted on the drawing.

As this is an ongoing section featuring in our print edition almost every week, there is no deadline for submissions.

⚠️ Due to the high number of submissions, we regret that we cannot acknowledge receipt of submissions or respond to queries about publication.

⚠️If you would like to check if your child has been featured but you aren't a subscriber of The Hindu Young World print edition, please visit the link in our bio to subscribe right away. by @thehinduyw

This movement helps young plants get more sunlight as they grow. However, as they grow older, most sunflowers stop following the sun and settle facing east!
