A little piece of me actually lives in the basement of the West Village

Looking back at the end of 2024, I was commissioned to paint a mural for the Disco room at San Vicente West Village, tucked inside the beautifully reimagined former Jane Hotel. I was selected by the incredible Rose Uniacke, whose vision shaped every inch of this space, and got to spend some of the last days of the year bringing the wall to life before the club opened in 2025.

There’s something special about painting for a room built for dancing. A space with history, from sailors’ lodgings to Titanic survivors to now this. Grateful to have added another layer to it.

Special thanks to @ylanlucas

You have arrived. No more shall you tread the path yearning for more.
For here and now exists the very thing you’re looking for.
You yearn for truth, for reality but answer me this- Being reality, how can you gain reality? There is nothing to be gained. Call off the search for you already have what you’re looking for. by @theillustriousone

Less than 24 hours left to mint on @our.zora A mural for their office headquarters in Soho, New York City, captured as a time lapse video recording. There are many layers to what makes Zora an answer as a platform for creators. Incorporating my interpretation of their Zorb the artwork itself reflects the chaos in navigating the tangled web of deception as an artist and the relief in finding a platform that offers solutions 🖼️ by @theillustriousone
