🩷a sinner saved by His grace

"You're closer than you think you are...All His promises are just up ahead." This isn't where your story ends. Note on the audio: This song pulled me through some really dark times, and it was years before I knew the artist (@dannygokey ) struggled with the same thing. If you need some encouragement go listen to these songs - I hope they speak to your heart the way they did mine. ❤️‍🩹 #anxiety #ocd #mentalhealth #christian #jesus by @theimpossiblechronicles
Don't give up, because there is MORE to your story 🩷 "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.” (Isaiah 43:1) “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony" (Revelation 12:11a) @dannygokey , thank you for being the person who showed me I wasn't alone, and for giving me the courage to share my testimony ❤️ #anxiety #ocd #jesus #mentalhealth #christian by @theimpossiblechronicles
He already paid the price. And He is mighty to save. 🩷 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 #jesuslovesyou #salvation #anxiety #ocd #depression by @theimpossiblechronicles
One of the trademarks of religious OCD (scrupulosity) is avoiding certain Scriptures. For me, one thing I avoided was much of the Old Testament. All those pre-resurrection laws sounded too much like the compulsions I felt I had to do to be saved. But years later I find myself so in love with the Old Testament - specifically how it shows us the character of God and reminds us of the Lamb without Blemish who came to take away our sins once for ALL 🩷 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. ” Romans 8:1-4 ESV #jesuslovesyou #anxiety #ocd #depression #testimony by @theimpossiblechronicles
Ask me and I'll say JESUS 🩷 “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!” Psalm 30:11-12 ESV #jesuslovesyou #christian #joy #depression #anxiety by @theimpossiblechronicles
