Some wild claims against the people involved in making this song, whatever that is couldn’t stop me from posting this banger here. Shayar is one of those recent finds that hits from the first go: Prabhakar Raj gets to do what he does best by writing, composing, and singing the whole thing himself. :)
The production stays completely out of the way. It keeps the arrangement spacious with lingering keys that let the vocals and the shayari-like writing take center stage, instead of drowning everything in heavy distortion and processed layers or chasing a quick 15-second loop.
All the recent noise about the label stealing or copying the song honestly feels like absolute rubbish. Usually an indie find like this is entirely the artist’s original composition, the label primarily would fill in with their distribution power, and backing an Independent artist’s original track without messing with the sould of the song is something we really need to see more often. Kudos to all for this lovely find ❤️

Every once in a while, you stumble upon a song that completely rewires your daily routine; “Main Kahan” is exactly one of those songs for me. Built on clean acoustic work alongside Ameen Singh, the song takes an unforgettable turn when that sweeping violin solo tears through the mix, followed by a ripping guitar solo towards the end that completely sends!

What makes this release even more special is the music video; it is genuinely so cute, and the beautiful tribute in memory of their good boy caught my heart more than anything else. <3

While Karan released it as an independent number rather than a film song, its arrangement carries that exact movie climax feel. Seeing independent artists like Karan cook stuff with this level of depth makes one thing crystal clear: they aren’t just making music for the sake of it, they are bound to dominate the entire scene sooner rather than later.

From composing tracks remotely across cities to dominating the music space with Musafir Cafe, watching Garvit Priyansh grow has been so fulfilling and incredible! Seeing Arijit Singh perform one of their songs “Kaahe Mose” Live was huge, but hearing tracks like “Tera Hua Sahiba” and “Kaafi Hai” hit so deeply in a mainstream Netflix series takes it to another level.

“Keh Do Na” from their early discography remains proof of how strong their core sound has always been. Built on clean acoustic textures and patient songwriting, it set the standard for everything they’ve built since. So genuinely proud of how far you guys have come man. Huge congratulations on all the well-deserved love, and and and, don’t forget - this is just the beginning! <3

$What stands out first about “Udd Chale” is its patience; instead of chasing a glossy and over polished pop hook, LMI lets crunchy, distorted guitars drive the entire mood. The riffs stay heavy without crowding the mix or burying the vocals under layers of forced production. It lets the track sit in its own quiet, rock n roll space instead of pushing a fake climax for easy drama. The cherry on top for me was seeing a major Indian music label shake hands with a Rock band on an atmospheric rock guitar track without changing its entire personality and making it pop. Love the way Goldie Sohel and Kumaar built this track. From feeling like you’re just listening to a regular heartbreak song, and then out of nowhere the whole thing flipping into a full Punjabi Qawwali right at the end. Instantly turns a clean studio track into a late-night mehfil with the boys that you cannot skip. The second the vocals pitch up and the rhythm locks in, you’re forced to pay attention even if it was just playing in the background. Love it how qawwalis and sarcasm become the best part of the song.

Chan Mahi hits right in that sweet spot where classic Punjabi romance meets actual, raw ache. The arrangement stays completely out of its own way, giving the lyrics real room to breathe while Gurdeep Mehndi’s vocals keep things grounded, honest, and personal.

In a scene currently overrun by disposable 2-minute loops and generic synth patches, hearing actual acoustic textures and story-driven writing hits completely different. No unnecessary gimmicks, no cheap tricks, just pure longing doing the heavy lifting. The kind of track that makes you stop scrolling and just let the music sit.

Every time Rahman and Sonu Nigam link up in a studio, the output just hits different. We’re talking about the same duo that gave us tracks like Satrangi Re and Saathiya, so the expectation is always sky high.

Listening to Tabassum from Batwara 1947 feels like stepping back into an era where music wasn’t rushed just to fit a short reel trend. Rahman keeps the arrangement super gentle, Javed Akhtar’s lyrics carry that classic charm, and Sonu’s vocals (along with Heer) just glide over the track.

It has those soft strings and subtle rhythm shifts that Rahman is known for, giving the melody actual room to breathe. If your playlist has been missing that calm, old-school romantic warmth lately, definitely give this one a spin on headphones.

Love it how Charan kept it so simple with Dhun Badalon Main, and i think that’s exactly why it works. It’s built on gentle acoustic picking and soft vocals that don’t try too hard, letting the space in the song do most of the heavy lifting.
When that chorus hits, it feels less like a big dramatic production and more like a quiet confession. Mirroring that exact simplicity, the music video captures those unscripted, everyday moments of being in love even when you are just existing together.
