Ocean Beach isn’t a place.
It’s a vibe!

Cold craft beer.
Sushi rolled fresh all night.
Cocktails that hit right.
Music up. Doors open.

This is where OB comes to eat.
If you know, you know.

If you don’t… it’s time.

📍 Ocean Beach

With the heaviest of hearts we are sharing with our extended family that this past Saturday The Joint lost its brother, leader, and head chef. Dalton Parr was known to so many because of his warm hearted friendliness and super welcoming personality. He was as incredibly funny, as he was hardworking, and passionate about everything he did in life. He was a leader, a teacher, a talented chef, a friend, and mentor in life to others, even those much older than his 23 years. You will be missed like no other Dalton, as you were like no other.

This is the reason the Joint has been closed the last 2 days. The shock of losing our brother has been beyond devastating in so many ways...

Rest In Power Dalton, you will be forever loved and remembered. Love & much respect always...your OB/SD Family, The Joint. by @thejointob

Our team brought their Halloween spirit, creativity, and costumes, and we couldn’t let the fun go undocumented! 🧡 We’re lucky to have a crew that knows how to work hard, have fun, and make every shift a little more memorable.(peep a picture of our sister restaurant The Bowl and their awesome Mario costumes) by @thejointob

And while we are at it come on in and enjoy one of our delicious cocktails❤️ featuring our Pineapple Express and Point Pa-Loma🍹🍸 by @thejointob

Out of all the places I’ve eaten in San Diego, @thejointob in Ocean Beach continues to be one of my favorites. The quality of the ingredients really comes through in every dish I’ve tried, and I love that they have options for so many different dietary preferences.

It’s become one of my go-to spots in San Diego, and a place I find myself coming back to again and again.

Have you tried The Joint yet? What’s your favorite thing on the menu?

The ocean peach combo❤️🍣#tikivibes by @thejointob

✨ Seasonal. Fresh. Beautifully Simple.

Our newest chef's feature celebrates some of our favorite ingredients of the season.

Perfectly seared Hokkaido scallops, fresh peach purée, crispy kale, charred scallions, seasonal garnishes, and a touch of spice—crafted to let every ingredient shine.

Looking for the freshest sushi? We've got that too. From premium nigiri and sashimi to elevated tapas, steaks, craft cocktails, mocktails, and one of Ocean Beach's best happy hours, there's something for everyone.
