This is all you need…

After searching for easier and simpler methods to make bread while I was running a small home-based bakery, I finally mastered how to simply make sourdough! Yes, you read that right, IT’S SIMPLE! The confusion comes when you start reading and trying out every method out there (like I did) and you just get overwhelmed and quit!

I am here to save you so much time and effort! I have compiled all the simple methods (that actually work) into one course that step-by-step walks you through each step! I have 4 bite size videos, about 5-10 minutes each that you could watch throughout the week, order your supplies from my supplies and ingredients list and you will be on your way to making fresh bread from your own oven the following week! (Don’t be me and spend months just watching sourdough videos until I finally convinced myself to try and then made flat loaves for like 6 months🤣)

Link in bio for my course! $27 for the course plus all the supplies and ingredients you will need - p.s. you don’t need much at all! A scale, bowl and wooden spoon will do😍

Happy Baking!💖

Simple bone broth 🤍

If you’ve ever felt like making bone broth had to be complicated… it doesn’t.

This is the easiest way I make it at home using simple ingredients — nourishing, budget-friendly, and perfect for busy days.

Ingredients:
• 1-2 lb chicken thighs
• 1 onion
• 2–3 garlic cloves
• 1/2-1 bunch of parsley
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1 tsp peppercorns

Instructions (Instant Pot):

Add everything to your Instant Pot and fill with water till max line

Cook on high pressure for 120 minutes.

Let it naturally release, then strain.

That’s it 🤍

You’ll have a rich, nourishing broth you can sip, cook with, or store for later! Depending on the size of your instant pot, you can add more water afterward to dilute it down if needed. I usually do this since I have a small instant pot and usually use this as a base for soup!

FRESH FLOUR 💛

Ever since learning about the amazing benefits of fresh flour, I have been waiting for the day to start using it in my own kitchen!

I will still always love regular sourdough - it has grown so close to me! However, fresh flour has upgraded our bread with so many nutrients and I will not stop shouting it from the rooftops!

If this is all new to you, stay tuned as I continue to share how I use my blender to make fresh flour in a simple, mom-friendly way!😍 P.S. there are so many more nutrients you are getting than just the ones listed above!

You don’t need to feed your starter every day.

You just need to understand when it actually needs to be fed.

TIPS TO REMEMBER ⬇️

1. Feed it before you need it: The night before you plan to mix your dough, grab it out of your frige and give it a high ration feeding. (Meaning small amount of starter and large amount of water and flour - I teach 90g water and 110g flour to an almost empty jar of starter)
2. If you cannot get to mixing up your dough when your starter is ready (8-12 after feeding) then pause it by popping in the fridge and use within 1-2 days!
3. If you go past that window, just refeed.
4. Last tip is to not stress about it - sourdough can be super flexible once you get the hang of it!❤️

If this is new information for you, you will be in for a treat with all these simple ways to make sourdough more user friendly!

You don’t need to bake every day.

Making two loaves at a time changes everything.

Less work, more bread, less stress 🤍

Homemade Vanilla 🤍

You Need:
• 12 oz oil dispenser or jar
• 8 whole vanilla beans
• 12 oz vodka
⸻

🍦 Instructions:

1. Prep the beans
• Slice each vanilla bean lengthwise to expose the seeds.
• If they’re too long, cut into halves so they fit in the jar.

2. Add to jar
• Place the split vanilla beans into your 12 oz jar.

3. Add alcohol
• Pour the vodka over the beans, fully submerging them.

4. Close & shake
• Seal the jar.
• Shake gently for 10–20 seconds.

5. Steep
• Shake once per week for the first few weeks.
• After about 6 weeks your vanilla is usable, but the flavor will still develop as you wait! Enjoy!

PRO TIP: add more vodka as you use up your extract to ensure the beans stay submerged (to prevent mold) since it is now diluted you can wait again or start using if you didn’t dilute too much. Keep topping off for about a year with those same beans! And then start your next batch!👏🏻

Save this for later 🤍

Sourdough is complicated.

There is no question about that.

The key for success is to learn the rules, then break the rules!

In my Simple Sourdough Course, I teach you how to feed your starter in 30 seconds, mix your dough in about 3 minutes and shape in a minute or 2! The best part about all of this is that it fits within YOUR schedule! You dont have time to mix now? No worries, pop your starter in the fridge and work on it later!

Although it is complicated initially, sourdough can become so flexible, and I want to teach you how!

Learn it once = never have to buy it from the store again🙌🏻

You know that feeling when you are trying to look for healthier options at the store…and just none of them cut it?

Here is a simple bread crumb recipe that you can use in so many recipes to come…and will ditch the store bought version for good!🍗

🍞 HOMEMADE BREAD CRUMBS

1–2 trays cubed bread
1 tsp Italian seasoning per cup
½ tsp salt per cup

1. Bake at 350°F until golden + fully dry
2. Pulse in food processor
3. Mix in seasoning + salt
4. Store on counter (short term) or freeze

🚺 MOM TIP
Save the sliced off edges from your toddlers sandwhiches or the end of bread in a bag in the fridge and when it’s full, you know it’s time to make your next batch of bread crumbs!

👩🏻‍🍳I you are the designated home cook and baker and are always trying to find healthiier alternatives for your family, I share from-scratch recipes that are simple with the least amount of hands on time💕 @thejoyofbakin

Trying to learn sourdough but feeling overwhelmed?

I’ve been there — especially with two little kids at my feet and no time for complicated steps.

What I learned is that you don’t need to do everything people say to make good bread. You just need a simple, consistent method.

That’s exactly what I teach inside my course for busy moms 🤍
