PLAYING AROUND.

It's so FUN playing with the @artroomsapp and seeing how my Art looks in different spaces. 🤗 Whether maximalist or minimalist, some COLOR or LOTS OF COLOR, it helps give buyers an idea of how this may LIVEN up their spaces. 🥰 by @thejoyshoppe

As the world starts to wake up again, I’m reminded that God is still in the business of NEW things. 🌱

Fresh blooms, softer light, little birds singing… all of it whispers, “You belong here. You are planted on purpose. His mercies are new this morning.”

These spring pieces were created to bring that reminder into your everyday spaces—JOY on your walls, HOPE on your shelves, and a gentle nudge to breathe a little deeper and notice His goodness in the details.

Which piece speaks “new season” to you right now?

I’ve always believed that art can carry more than color and shape — it can carry story, comfort, and sometimes even a reminder of God’s goodness in the middle of everyday life.

That is a big part of why I create. I want my work to feel like light in a room and peace in a busy world.

Has there been a piece of art that encouraged you at just the right time? ❤️ by @thejoyshoppe

I created this collection of smaller works to reflect the many ways faith meets us—in creation’s praise, God’s guidance, trust through every season, and the hope of new growth. Scripture and spiritual meaning run through each piece, while layered textures, found details, and colors from soft neutrals to vivid golds and pinks give every artwork its own story. Their smaller scale makes them easy to bring into a reading nook, prayer space, or a cozy corner that could use a little encouragement.

Which piece speaks to you today, and what detail first caught your eye? I’d love to hear. I hope one of these finds a special place in your home.

Paint... COLOR or greige?

I'm all about the color! Each room in my home is painted a different color. Most are soft but I hope to be changing some things up.

I LIVE HERE and I WANT TO LOVE IT🩷

WHAT do you think? Are you color or neutral? AND you can MIX THEM🩷 by @thejoyshoppe

A gift for the woman who loves color, faith, and a little joy on her table. 🌸
Each tray is handmade in resin, with Scripture, pressed flowers, gold, and crystals. Gift it, style it on a coffee table, or set it in a designer's vignette.

I rarely create a dark piece, especially in black. But in resin, this piece is stunning.

Gallery wall plans: “I’ll just hang a few pictures.”

Three hours later: frames everywhere, measuring tape missing, and one tiny nail hole that somehow looks like a design decision. 😅

If creating a gallery wall feels overwhelming, you don’t have to figure it out alone! I’ve gathered several helpful articles on my website to make planning and creating your wall easier—one frame at a time.

Take a look, find the tips you need, and let’s turn that blank wall into something you love. The help is waiting in the articles on my website!

Have you ever started a “quick” decorating project and ended up rearranging the whole room? by @thejoyshoppe

I LOVE creating these Resin Trays! The possibilities are ENDLESS! 🩷

It's so fun to go Hobby Lobby and look at all the pulls...I especially love the rose pulls... They are so beautiful. The movement and colors in the Resin is stunning.

FALL is here but mostly in the mornings! 😀

But woo hoo we do have some cooler weather dropping in tonight🙌

Something about a change in seasons makes me want to do an entire house refresh. 😳

Yes, I've made a list for every room. Will I do it all? Probably not but it's OK TO DREAM and write it down.

But I will do some of it and some of it I can do on my own. Trying to bring in more COLOR because COLOR for me is just HAPPY.

WHAT ABOUT YOU? Does a change in season make you want to change things in your home or your routine?

Drop me a note 😀🩷
