Most goalkeepers think coming for the cross is enough. But your communication is just as important. 🧤

Your voice does more than call for the ball. It tells your teammates what to do next:

📣 Your defenders know whether to step, hold, or protect space.
📣 They know who is handling the first ball and who is covering the second.
📣 Nobody is guessing, which means fewer collisions and fewer mistakes.

And communicating early helps you too. When your teammates know the plan before the ball arrives, you can be preventative and aggressive in your final action, because you’ve already decided what you’re doing and so have everyone around you. Late or quiet communication leads to hesitation, and hesitation is where goals happen.

So make your call early, loud, and clear, and then commit. 💪
