Hi, I’m Abena Serwaa — the founder and face behind The Kete House.

Born and raised in Ghana, I’ve spent 13+ years immersed in cultural dance, with a deep love for Ghana’s Royal Kete tradition.

The Kete House is a space for Culture, Community and Heritage — and for everyone who has ever felt the drum in their chest.

Education. Performance. Tradition. Lessons.
All of it, right here.

Welcome home. 🤎

The Kete House is officially open.

A space for Kete - an expressive tradition of the Asante people, carried through dance, music, movement, and language.

Kete carries stories, knowledge, and expression through rhythm and movement.

This is more than a dance, and this is where we begin.

The House is open.
More to come.

Welcome to The Kete House.
Akwaaba. 🤎🤍
