🕹️ @thekiddiecade is a secure and educational environment that is a mix between a daycare and entertainment center. They are the home of SmartPlay, dedicated to providing families with a distinctive space that creativity and social interaction through games and other hands-on activities with a capacity of 22 people at a time - both kids & adults!

• $26/hour – 1 adult & 1 child
• $12.99 – second parent (one-time add-on)

🌟My Take: The KiddieCade created a haven with parents at the center of their design. They are not a busy play café or an overstimulating indoor playground. Instead, they thoughtfully curated an environment where grown-ups can finally take a breath, whether that means catching up on emails or sipping a latte in peace.

🌟About the mama behind the business: Marlene Williams is a Charlotte mom and owner who previously worked as an ICU RN before becoming a stay-at-home parent. She created this space after recognizing a gap in the community. The KiddieCade is the place she wished existed, somewhere parents could bring their children and still have the opportunity to sit, breathe, and maybe even check a few emails.

Hosted by Brooklyn Robot Foundry Charlotte, The Robot Lab is the perfect STEM adventure for ages 5–8, where creativity and engineering come together. ✨

Kids will build their very own working robot while learning the basics of robotics and simple circuitry through hands on play. Then it’s time to make it their own by decorating and customizing their creation before taking it home.

As always at The KiddieCade, learning is hands-on, creativity is encouraged, and every child leaves with a one of a kind robot they’re proud of.

Parents 👀 You can stay and enjoy our BYO café bar and lounge while they build, or drop off and enjoy a little time to yourselves. The choice is yours. 😉

One thing we notice almost every day? Kids don’t need to know each other before they get here 🙌🏾

Between the way our team encourages collaborative play and the variety of activities that let every child engage at their own pace, friendships tend to happen naturally.

New week, new chances to come hang with us! ☕️✨

We’ve got plenty of play sessions this week, Happy Hour is back on Thursday (1–3 PM 🎉), and just a heads up that we’ll have a few private events this weekend.

A few things to note:
• Monday: Closed
• Thursday: Happy Hour from 1–3 PM
• Saturday: Open Play from 9 AM–12 PM and 4–6 PM (private party from 1–3 PM)
• Sunday: No Open Play due to a private event.

As always, we recommend booking ahead, especially for weekend sessions, to make sure we have space for your family.

We are STILL processing yesterday. 🥹✨

Having @monicajsutton bring @circletimewithmsmonica to The KiddieCade was truly one of those moments we’ll never forget.

With 3 SOLD OUT shows, There was so much laughter, singing, dancing, and learning…but honestly, what stood out most was the feeling in the room. The love, the joy, the encouragement…it was just special.

On a personal note..It’s easy to admire someone from social media, but meeting them in person is a completely different thing. Ms. Monica is exactly who she appears to be. Kind. Genuine. Professional. The same positive energy you see online is exactly what she brings into a room, and it made such an impact on all of us.

To the entire Circle Time team, thank you for trusting us with your families and allowing The KiddieCade to be part of such an incredible experience.

And to Monica…thank you. We loved every second of having you here and we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. You are doing something really special, and we’re grateful we got to witness it firsthand. 💕
