I know this isn’t my usual content but I’m Spanish and I’m deeply frustrated not only by what happened yesterday with those two trains (which by the way happened in the province where I live) but also by everything that has been happening in Spain in the last 8 years thanks to the useless government we have… Sorry to my non Spanish speakers but writing in my mother tongue is the only way I have of getting out my sadness and anger. I don’t know if you’ll understand every word but I hope you do feel the emotion behind it. By the way if you share it somewhere, PLEASE GIVE ME CREDITS as this is a very personal topic and writing this text has taken me a lot of time and emotional energy. by @theleclergirlie
And just like that… it’s finally my favourite day of the year!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 Arthur’s birthday is always a really important date for me but this year is even more special because after spending a lot of time watching people meet him and after asking myself if I would ever experience that, I finally made that dream come true and I got to meet him on Friday and Saturday in Barcelona almost 2 weeks ago 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 It’s really hard to explain with words how much this experience means to me but I can say that going from admiring him through a screen to seeing him in person, having the opportunity to give him a hand made gift and even getting a hug without having asked for it is absolutely life changing… Also, I’m really happy because after being used to look for photos of Arthur to celebrate his birthday, I can finally use my own footage 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 I don’t know if he will see this but in case he does I want to write this message: Dear Arthur, First of all, I hope that you have a wonderful 26th birthday full of laughter and joy. Also, I wanted to thank you for being so nice to me and for not judging me when I was so nervous on Friday. Meeting you was really amazing and it means a lot to me because I got to make true something that I never thought I would be able to experience. With love, Ana ❤️ by @theleclergirlie
And… it’s been already one month since Arthur won his first race in GT 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 by @theleclergirlie
So… last two pictures from the Barcelona weekend. I wish I could finish on a happy note but unfortunately Sunday was a nightmare as there was a huge storm on Saturday night that meant no trains to the track on Sunday so I ended up being stuck in Barcelona. Don’t let the pictures fool you. I might look happy on the outside but I can assure you that on the inside I was completely dead and broken… Barcelona is beautiful but my only reason for being there was enjoy the racing and although I have all the memories from Friday and Saturday, the wound is too deep and I don’t think it’ll close anytime soon 💔 by @theleclergirlie
So… after showing you yesterday the downs of my Barcelona trip, today I’m showing you another one of the ups!!! 🥰 I usually struggle to make friends in person but somehow I fought my fears and managed to meet a wonderful person while I was in the track which for me is something really exciting and it actually makes me feel proud of myself 😊 I’m not sure if she’ll see this post but in case she does I want to write her this message: Mi querida Jana, Sé que no nos conocemos desde hace mucho pero quiero que sepas que ese sábado contigo en el circuito fue una experiencia extraordinaria para mí porque como te dije a mí siempre me ha costado mucho hacer amigos en persona pero contigo conecte en seguida.
This picture is a bit tough to post but life isn’t always pretty and I don’t want to lie and pretend that the whole trip was a path of roses because it was actually a normal trip with its ups and downs… These past days you’ve seen the ups and now it’s time you see the downs. Today’s picture was taken on Saturday afternoon during race 1 which was really tricky because it started raining and the track was really wet. Cars in the rain look pretty but sometimes they’re unlucky and what starts with people having fun and admiring cars under the rain can finish with someone crying because their favourite car has had an accident due to the rain. That’s exactly what happened to me as one moment I was excitedly watching the race in my seat and admiring the cars passing through with the drops and the spray, and the next moment I was taking this picture of Thomas and Arthur’s car being towed. On top of that and as if the accident wasn’t painful enough, I immediately realised that since Thomas was the one driving the car at the time of the accident, that meant that Arthur wouldn’t have the chance to race (which I later realised was a good thing because I would actually have felt worse if Arthur had been the one driving when the accident happened…) Anyway, it was a really tough moment but I want it to share it with all of you to help you realise that life is not always about happy moments… by @theleclergirlie
So… after meeting Tommaso, I did something I didn’t expect to do: I saw Thomas again!!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 It was even more special than Friday because he was more busy but in spite of that he still made time to stop and take the picture with me which obviously means a lot more than words can actually express… by @theleclergirlie
Saturday in Barcelona started once again with me meeting drivers!!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 This time the first driver I saw was Tommaso Mosca who drives alongside Matías Zagazeta in AF Corse number 51 Ferrari 😊 I had heard a lot of things about Tommaso and about how nice he was and I’m really happy that I got to confirm in person that he’s indeed really polite and a great person who deserves way more appreciation than he actually gets…. Also, I obviously want to congratulate him for winning the Gold Championship and for the great performance he has done this season 💪 by @theleclergirlie
So… that’s a wrap on the Friday at Barcelona content 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭 After meeting drivers and enjoying the paddock it was time to seat down and watch Free Practice 2 which was absolutely fantastic because I could finally see number 50 with my own eyes and I could hear the awesome sound of the cars 🤩🤩🤩🤩 by @theleclergirlie
And… after meeting some drivers it was time to walk around the paddock!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 There was a really cool car expo and I obviously had to take a picture with a Ferrari 🤭 Also, had a lot of fun taking pictures next to the number 50 ban 🥰 by @theleclergirlie
And… the next post in my Barcelona series is about these two wonderful pictures I took on Friday with Thomas Neubauer, who is Arthur’s teammate in the AF Corse number 50 car. Meeting Thomas was a really awesome experience not only because he was really nice to me but also because I admire him a lot because he has done the last two rounds of the Sprint Cup despite having his left collarbone injured and to me that’s definitely something absolutely remarkable (sadly I forgot to tell him that because once again I was a bit nervous 😅) I also wanted to thank Thomas for the useful information he gave me when I asked him about the best time to meet Arthur 🥰 by @theleclergirlie
So the first picture in the Barcelona collection is this one I took on Friday with Matías Zagazeta who drives for AF Corse in car number 51 and was really nice to me 🥰 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I don’t know if he’ll see this but I still want to send him this message: Hola Matías, Quiero agradecerte inmensamente por ser tan agradable conmigo cuando nos vimos el viernes en Barcelona.
