What a banger of a weekend 💥 Thanks to everyone who made it down! We raised some money, had a laff & felt the community in full force. You lot are wicked! Thanks for your continued support over the summer too 🤎 It really feels like we’re building something a bit mega cool down here — and it’s truly a collective effort. The marina, all the awesome businesses involved, the people working behind the scenes & our incredible community who keep showing up and bringing the energy. Big love from Leigh Marina 🌊⚓️ Here’s 20 pics of the weekend looking cute x by @theleighwhisperer
We fear @theleighwhisperer may have taken “wellness” too far. 👀✨ Manifestations were made. Energy was shifted. People were plunged. Absolutely nobody reached a higher plane of existence. But we did laugh. A lot 😂🙌🏼 Thank you to everyone who came down today for our 1st Birthday, got involved and trusted the process. And to The Leigh Whisperer for guiding us through whatever the fuck that was. Same time next year? 😂 Disclaimer: no chakras were harmed in the making of this reel. 🫰🏼 by @theleighwhisperer
IM OUT HERE, ON THE TRIANGLE BY THE CHURCH, COME SAY HELLO. SHARE A JOKE, SHARE A SMILE, STOP AND TALK FOR JUST A WHILE 🌞 Nearing the final grand, and I’m feeling grand. Love all my Leighdem x by @theleighwhisperer
FINAL DAY UPDATE ⏰❤️ LINK IN BIO 🔗 Thank you everyone, yesterday was wild! 73% funded 😅 If we don’t hit the goal, no-one gets charged and we don’t get a penny! We are suuuuper close now. If we could get another stockist (or two) on board, that would be a massive chunk closer. Best bet is finding a business to take an advert out in Issue 001 (I know it’s super last minute but imagine the drama, the love, the heroic scenes of swooping in and saving the day!) looking at Essex businesses that have national (/global) audiences… @ruarkaudio 👀 @insureandgouk 👀 @theraggedpriest 👀 Otherwise we get there by lil bits, lots of lil bits. <12 hours to go now, so so close! I’m gonna be around town all day: if see me, come have a chat ❤️ by @theleighwhisperer
THE END IS NIGH ⏰ LINK IN BIO 🫵🙏 MASSIVE day today, thank you so much everyone that has backed the @kickstarter so far, you have my eternal gratitude and a piece of my heart (not actually, just in case, figuratively) Still trying to find an advertiser last minute, it’ll be a bloody movie if we manage to secure one in the last 24 hours but it’s probably the only way we’re getting this baby over the line. You’ll be in a 40,000 print run, multiple Instagram reels and anything else I can offer to sweeten the deal ❤️🙏 Let’s get this puppy to the park. Thanks so much @buster.loves.you 🤝 by @theleighwhisperer
33 HOURS LEFT TO GO, 45% FUNDED! ⏰ For the readers of The Leigh Whisperer, if you’ve enjoyed reading the paper over the last 2 years and think it’s worth a fiver… please back this project and be an instrumental part of taking it to the next level. Have a look at the link, there’s only hours left to go now ❤️ It’s crunch time at Whisperer HQ. 79 beautiful people have lumped in over £2.5k but if we don’t hit the goal of £5.6k, we won’t get any of it (and no-ones cards will be charged). Still hoping to get a couple more Founding Stockists take a subscription out. And praying a business comes through in the last minute and pledges to be a Founding Advertiser 🙏 not likely we’ll get across the finishing line without that happening so if you own a business that could advertise or know someone that does please take a look or have a word with them x by @theleighwhisperer
Please take a look ❤️link in bio 🔗 It’s crunch time! ⏰ only 3 days left to go, if we don’t hit the goal, we don’t get a penny! If you can think of any business local or otherwise that could advertise in Issue 001 then please tag them in the comments or DM me ❤️ it’s going to be our best chance of getting across the line! If there’s anywhere you think could stock The Whisperer, please tag them below ❤️ A couple more stockists and one advertiser would put us so much closer to getting this thing funded 💪 If you’re a reader and enjoyer of The Leigh Whisperer, please consider sticking a few quid in 🤝❤️ Thank you to everyone that has supported so far, let’s see if we can get this thing launched!! by @theleighwhisperer
WOWOWOWOWEEEEEEEEE 🌞🌞🌞 What a week!!! If you haven’t checked out the @kickstarter yet, please take a look via the link in my bio 🔗❤️ Massive, gigantic shoutout to @drift.los (@leighmarina__ ) and @sarasteagarden for becoming the first ever founding stockists!! BOTH pledging 6 month subscriptions which is a huge chunk of the funding so far. Thank you so much! Big up to every one of the 49 backers: La crème, the heroes (I’ve just realised I spelt heroes wrong in the image above, woops). THANK YOU. Honestly, bottom of my heart. I’ve had so many messages of encouragement and thanks back to us(?!) and I appreciate each one so so sooo much. It’s gonna take a village, a town… a crowd to get this crowdfunder across the line. If you’ve been a fan of The Leigh Whisperer over the last 2 years then please think about clicking that link (…and then actually click the link, jf you fancy it xo) by @theleighwhisperer
LINK IN BIO - PLEASE BACK THE @kickstarter 🔥 If this doesn’t twist your arm, I don’t know what will. We’re at 22%, can we see 50% by the week’s end?! 👀 Massive shout out to Tom @jabber.studio for absolutely smashing this start to finish in 3 hours 😂🤝 Beat prod. by GORE OCEAN 🔥 by @theleighwhisperer
LINK IN BIO ❤️ Read more… ↓↓↓ If you’ve ever enjoyed @theleighwhisperer (in print or our videos on here) then I am shamelessly appealing for your support in taking this baby ✨ NATIONAL ➡️ (@read.the.whisperer) ✨ Our @kickstarter campaign (as of 08:00 Tues 18th August) is now LIVE❗️and will run for a little over two weeks (ending at 22:00 Tues 1st September) 🤞 please check it out via the link in my bio ❤️ it would mean the world to me x If we hit our funding goal on time: I’m going to be travelling around the UK delivering boxes of whisperers to independent businesses, free of charge! So if you own a business that you think could be a stockist of The Whisperer then follow @read.the.whisperer and send me a DM 💌 If you have a mate that owns a business that could be a stockist in a town 50,100,300 miles away – please tag them or share this with them 🤝 heck, if you really love them, why not pledge for them and I’ll put them on the map in your name! (See Launch a Stockist on the Kickstarter page 🤝) Any questions? DM me! Stop me in the street! I desperately want to share everything I know about this, I am a man obsessed. It’s all or nothing crowdfunding so we either hit the goal or we get nothing so every pledge counts and I will be eternally grateful for you taking the time and spending your hard earned money on being an instrumental part of launching this dream of mine 🤞 Alright, I’m rambling. Love you so much. All the best, Robert x (+ Harriet + Ralph) by @theleighwhisperer
A LOT OF MONEY. Hey, do you like pizza? Boy, have I got the perfect place for you to go on Saturday 8th August! 🍕 @essexpizzafestival 🤝 Go check out the instagram for more details, I think you need to book tickets? I don’t know, I’m not going. I would be going but I was actually already busy that day. Me saying I’m not going doesn’t mean I don’t want to go, doesn’t mean I think it’s going to be shit. I think it will actually be really good, if you like pizza. by @theleighwhisperer
